I have to say I felt a little under dressed for this establishment. Looks like they are really going for the fine dining option but our coffee was very good. Outdoor area very peaceful and more comfortable for just coffee and cake. Especially after walking a 19 km bush walk. Will try again if passing by.
Entrance area decor a bit too clincal. Made me feel a bit uncomfortable and tense. Outdoor area amongst the rainforest is really calm and relaxing for communication. Although I only had a coffee and scone (nice jam), I was impressed with the waiter service (tall guy with dark hair). He was spot on with proactive professional service without being intrusive. He also knew his serving etiquette - serve from right side for drinks and plated food which isn't practiced too often on the Sunshine Coast. Generally, waitstaff at other business are deficient on this and just reach across from any angle. They also try to take my plate away when I am eating slowly and only a small portion of food left on the plate and I haven't put my knife and fork together yet. Coffee was nice. I haven't tried the fine dining inside yet but I hear it is great. The pictures of the meals in magazines look delicious especially the desserts. Daisy's has friendly professional staff. The business fills a much needed void for dining along Steve Irwin way near the northern end (near Bruce Hwy). Outside architecture is clean and inviting - makes you curious to venture in and find out what's inside.
Take the time to find this hidden gem . Highly trained professional staff will greet you at this cafe. With a lot of attention to detail , the decor has been created with passion and creativity . On only my third visit the barista remembered my choice of coffee . A smooth blend , with a little kick just how I like it ! Enjoy
