The bike riders who do the Cotter and Uriarra Loop on Wednesdays have more than happy with my suggestion of Nuigini Arabica as our cafe of choice. Coffee is regularly a 9, 👍👍👍, and the northern sheltered aspect of the place encourages lingering on. Food on offer hits the spot, too. Several of us pick up their coffee beans for use at home, too.
Not too shabby. Literally. Yes, the Duffy shopping village has seen better days but it’s retained a run down charm and is well sited looking out over the playing fields. However, though breezy sunshine spills in through Niugini Arabica’s floor to ceiling windowfront, the café’s signage is staid and their takeaway cups lack the requisite organic feel. An inviting aroma of cream biscuit announced my flat white as harbouring bold intentions, and for the most part the flavour lived up to that promise. Unfortunately it limped across the finish line, mellowing fast and even bordering on boring. It probably didn’t help that from the outset my cup leaked at the seam near its base. Still, a decent enough cup of joe… Service was beyond reproach: genuine, friendly and fast.
Nice all-purpose flavour which would appeal to a wide audience. Milk was nicely done and presentation was good. This is a beat and tidy little cafe in the middle of a run-down looking local shopping area. Good food options and service. If you're in the area, give it a go.
Set way out in the wilds of Duffy, it's got a pleasant aspect looking out over a park from the outdoor undercover seating. Coffee was OK but nothing special. Staff were really friendly. I'll try them again when next out here as I've used their fresh beans before at home to make some great coffees.
