Love it. Got sick of the inconsistency of coffee at the only cafe in Hawker, so went further afield to Kippax. Very lucky find. Lovely pleasant staff and beautiful tasting coffee. Very importantly, they understand that extra hot means a few degrees above normal... not a few degrees under boiling. This place deserves to be well patronised.

Popped in for a quick coffee and a couple of babycinos for the grand children. We all really enjoyed our drinks with my piccolo being served in an espresso cup rather than a glass. Looked and tasted pretty good. The grand said the same about their babycinos too.

The only decent (really delish actually) coffee in the Kippax/ Holt/ Higgins vicinity. The beans - Pablo & Rusty's are excellent. The latte result is consistently smooth and creamy. Beats Coffee Club (blergh) hands down, which is one of few other cafes in the area. Free WiFi should you need; and there's a range of goodies/menu on offer. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Light and airy cafe with outdoor tables to boot.

It shouldn't matter where in the ACT you live, you can get your butt to Lucky Shot Espresso. Hands down THE best coffee in the Capital & Surrounds and it'd be hard pressed to beat anything I've had in Melbourne. Cool Hand Luke on the machine, who greets & thanks every customer incoming and outgoing, is the quintessential host & star barista. The all day breaky is a winner, the selection of delectable treats- & a celiacs delight, with a myriad of GF goodies to sink your teeth into. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I couldn't go anywhere else!

My first exposure to Pablo & Rusty's beans, and they made a very positive impression. My flat white was deliciously dark and syrupy with only the tiniest fade out at the very last. Service was super friendly and the space has a decidedly comfortable community feel to it. Some sweet equipment at play here, but the fit out was a little piecemeal, with an awkward balance of warm and cold elements.
