Cafe that deserves a full shop fit-out than a kiosk, came with my partner and we were treated to table service, a nice change in the cafe market in Canberra. Coffee was really good, Gabriel beans (one of three cafes in Canberra to use them) exhibited nicely. Latte was well balanced with the wow factor of Melbourne coffee - they should open up in the city or Braddon. Breakfast was also good apart from our poached eggs being too cooked, I was looking forward to oozing yolks - on that note, the yolks of the eggs were a surprisingly vibrant orange instead of the pale yellow you see frequently. The execution of Kingston & Co. is good, the fit-out of a kiosk seems to let the operation down but otherwise the concept is strong. Well done Kingston & Co, will be back.
Treated to a long black with a clean, sparkling flavour and delicious crema. Service here is generally warm and attentive. The owner sports the maddest tats and has a successful history of recruiting wait staff that are cool, interesting characters. Tasty menu too. It's hamstrung though by the fact there's just no escaping its location in a Westfield shopping mall.
Im a sucker for a good coffee and this little place has yet to let me down. They have a great blend ( which is evidently their own signature) in addition to Single Origin & Cold drip. When I get the chance to sit and eat, my favorite is the Breakie sliders ( You can choose Salmon/Bacon)
