The Gabriel beans positively hum. There is a curious kind of magic at work here. Initial flavour is pleasant and then builds and persists across the profile, with no deterioration in aftertaste. The cafe's hard surfaces make for a noisy space, but there are various seating options inside and out. Generous opening hours and promising menu. Service was prompt and civil, though attitude of staff could do with some polish.
Firstly, this place opens at 6am (kitchen from 7am) which is fantastic. Their coffee is the best in Braddon in my opinion and is consistently good regardless of who is on the machine. I am a bacon and eggs regular and the bacon they source from Pialligo Estate Smokehouse and it is truly amazing. A very young hip staff and customer service is pretty good. Wait times have never been a problem but get in early on weekends, this place gets busy.
