Amazing discovery in The Outback. This cafe/restaurant compares favourably with the best anywhere. Had unquestionably the finest espresso coffee ever: anywhere, anytime. Finally I’m able to award the highest score for coffee quality. Colombian single for the record. Food and service excellent in a lovely atmosphere with so friendly staff. Thank you.

This was my first visit back to Broken Hill for a couple of years and the Silly Goat has just exploded. A new location, bigger and better, but has the coffee suffered with this success? ABSOLUTELY NOT... I had a single origin espresso and a house blend latte and they were both amazing. It is always a highlight of visiting ‘The Hill’.

Busy place. Good vibe. Young well trained staff. Coffee excellent. Food also very good. Recommend the Power Bowl and Veg Sandwich. Iced latte perfect refreshing way to have your coffee in this climate. Double shot latte small size excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent cappuccino, strong, full flavoured and creamy to the last drop. The green scrambled eggs with bacon and Hollandaise were delicious too. Just a slight glitch with a forgotten second coffee order, otherwise would have scored a nine.

Loved this place for coffee and for food. Coffee was our usual inner Sydney standard. Food was fantastic- my haloumi burger was very tasty and just the right size. The brownie to follow was amongst the best brownies I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few. Only problem was that as a woman in sixties I seemed to be invisible to the young floor staff.

On a Monday morning the place was packed and for good reason. Our coffees were great with a smooth, mellow flavour and a creamy finish on our flat whites. As well it was served at just the right temperature. No scones unfortunately but perfection is always hard to achieve. Ambiance was great and service very good as well. Definitely worth a visit.
