The coffee here is a bit hit and miss and sometimes you're left waiting for a while. I always get friendly service though and the atmosphere is really nice.

The wait is pretty long for coffee and food, but it's such a quaint setting! They're one of the few places who can make a good coffee with almond milk.

Girl who served us was lovely, but that's about where the positives end. Coffee looks like it should be good but is bitter and leaves an awful aftertaste in the mouth. I ended up biffing it! If your looking for good coffee, go a bit further towards the botanical gardens and get one from the Garden Centre. You get a bonus .50c off your coffee if you bring your keep cup!

Fast service and atmospheric cafe in the heart of QUT Gardens Point. Would not recommend the coffee. Not sure if the cafe prides themselves on burnt, watered down coffee. Ordered a mocha and my friend ordered a cappuccino and tried both. Both the same watering taste and no hint of anything. Won't be coming back here again.

Not too many places where you get a decent breakfast for so cheep. Ordered flat white, nice chocolate and caramel notes, good balance with sweetness of the milk. Maybe a touch too much foam though. I'm almost never at qut, but if I do find myself here I'll come back eagerly.

Old Government House tearoom on QUT Gardens Point campus under new management. The Pantry will open soon within OGH however is currently operating from the coffee cart directly outside with a funky lounge setting to sit and enjoy. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Great coffee! Looking forward to these guys officially opening within the OGH building.
