If you don't know prior to than it can be easily overlooked. However, to the keen eye spotting a Simonelli and Anfim grinders may lead to give it a go. The few times I've been there Ive been greeted by a wonderful chap whom if there were a Best Dressed Barista Award, he would take it out easily. The beans used are Uncle Joes, a local roaster and through their equipment set up its as almost as if you're tasting coffee at a Barista Competition. Espresso, Flat White and Long Black were all made well with a selection of a blend or single origin of the day. Accompanied with some frozen yoghurt and it's a win. If this were in any other well known brisbane coffee spot it would a lot more popular.
Similar set-up to the other Noggi in Queens Plaza but this one has a 2-group Nuovo and its own internal seating....only plastic chairs and tables but still stylish. It also has an area of imitation grass with lounging cushions but I passed on that. Coffee was smooth and well presented from a competent barista but who is finishing up this week and will be missed.
For a start $4.80 is a bit rich. This isn't Perth prices! Decor was a bit daggy but the elephants seemed pleased. Service was pleasant enough. As for the coffee, the milk in the flat white was well frothed, coffee taste a bit bland and too weak. All up average and boarder line rude given the price.
