Visited a year ago but came back to see this small cafe with all outdoor tables on Grey street and in a passageway through to Little Stanley Street. The coffees we ordered were promptly delivered and presented well. A My long black was also good, having a pleasant richness with hints of citrus and a good body with no bitterness to the end - always a good sign. A savoury muffin (pictured) was pronounced tasty as was an almond croissant. All the other patty cakes were decorative and looked tempting.
Situated next to Espresso Garage with some nicely decorated tables, the small counter is dominated by a tempting array of small cakes. Porridge on offer with gluten free option as well as toasts etc. The coffee (long black) presented well with fair crema, smooth finish but medium bodied with no particular flavours detected. Good table service on a busy morning. Perhaps worth another try, if only to try a tempting treat.
