Espresso was very smooth with a light touch of natural sweetness. Initial flavours of citrus gave was to hints of hazelnut. A very popular venue with many brunch-time diners as well as take-aways (they present coffees in your cup as requested and sell coffee “go-cups”). Cheerful and friendly service, but at 11s, we were too late for a biscuit or pastry.
Cracking coffee, it's easy to cock up soy based coffees but the guys on the tools at Josies got it bang on. I also had the breakfast roll without bacon which is a dish every cafe is serving up at present - it was the best version I've had in Brisbane. Make the trek from near or far if you don't want to be disappointed the next time you want great coffee/grub.
It's hiding down inside a quiet mall away from the road but it was worth the find. The coffee was made on beans from 7 Seeds from Melbourne and very tasty. Instantly pleasing and enjoyable enough that I might have been tempted to get another had I not already walked back to the truck and started to drive away.
