After regularly sampling, this is very nice coffee. Gets a bit busy in the morning. Very friendly welcome and personal approach. It’s on the expensive side, but worth it. Pastries are limited and very nice but very pricey. Stick to the coffee.
Our cafe is a quality focussed business using Mecca Coffee as our house blend and sourcing from other quality Australian roasters for our feature coffee and filter coffee. We source our ingredients from other like-minded businesses such as Maleny Dairies for milk, Heirloom for all things chocolate and our sister cafe Bunker for Iced drinks. We have a daily selection of fresh baked pastries and cakes and the cafe is located in the heritage listed John Mills Himself building. We can be a little hard to find: you can reach us via the driveway at 55 Elizabeth St, or walk through to the back of the buildings basement level from 40 Charlotte St.

Intriguing sour note, a la a sour beer, together with caramel and a healthy dose of acidity made the couple of cold brews on an Ethiopian from Sample very tasty cups.

Cheetah spotted crema for the Ethiopian double espresso. Burst of acidity up front then caramelised gear taking it home. Wood and Co for the pour over had some initial creamy mouthfeel and was great - beautifully balanced.

Espresso on a washed Ethiopian from Parallel Roasters gave a syrupy shot with soya sauce fermented notes - excellent. Rose water and nectarines to the Parallel washed Kenyan pour over, nice chewy mouthfeel as a bonus
If you know anything about great coffee and you work in the CBD, you don’t go anywhere else. Brilliant every time with the applauded Bunker Espresso drop, impeccable service and a charming hidden location, this is one of the best coffee experiences in Australia.
Coffee is slightly above average. Service good. Interesting place. Perhaps too busy sometimes.

Definitely a little tricky to find but worth the look. I had a small strong flat white on the 5 Senses "Dark Horse" blend which was beautifully made.
