Nice place with comfy looking chairs. Friendly bar gender who made the coffee too. Coffee was too hot and I burnt my tongue but it was decent tasting once it cooled. Still I have to drop the rating as too hot is the cardinal sun. Otherwise great place for after work coffee.

Hello Beanhunters Thnakyou all so much for coming in to support us at Hoo Ha Bar. We're an owner operated venture that thrives on the support of people like yourselves, so thankyou. If you're keen on our coffee, as of tomorrow (30/11/2013) we're trialing a new single origin blend from Kenya that comes fresh from our supplier, Supreme Roasters. Come on down and check it out, as we plan to rotate our single origin blends frequently to keep things interesting. Cheers

This is an awesome new little cafe/bar in a slightly hidden but nonetheless convenient location. I've only been there during its cafe hours, but they do good coffee with small selection of really nice, really reasonably priced food. The atmosphere is very cool. Highly recommended.

I went to Hoo Ha Bar several times, and this cafe-during-a-day bar-at-night offers seriously good food, coffee and service. The place has a great ambiance furnished with retro, but hip furniture. The high ceiling and arrangement of tables give the place an airy feel. Food is scrumptious and you can order things you can find at other cafes and prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed my coffee though it slightly lacked the depth comparing to my other favorite cafes. Still, it had a rich flavour and reasonably strong body. If you prefer weaker coffee, maybe a half strength is the best as some people who ordered 1/4 said it tasted only milk with a touch of coffee. Service was really good whenever I visited Hoo Ha Bar. They were always patient, attentive, and very generous. They gave me a slight odd look at my second visit as I looked I had no clue, and that was totally right. A nice young lady asked if I was OK because I could not figure out where I should make an order, and how things would work. Thanks to her, I could get my coffee to warm me up after a bit of walk in the rain. I am so glad to see such a nice cafe/bar has finally put in a right spot. It is a good alternative for city workers who love their morning fix. You can pop in to get coffee before work, then hop on to the next bus/train easily as it is next to South Bank train/bus station.
