Unfortunately, it looks like the owners have changed and the coffee is suffering. A few weeks ago the staff entirely changed and since then, the coffee has taken on a bitter taste and is regularly too hot. Sad to see a good coffee spot suffering for lack of a quality product.
Nice atmosphere with little quirky things on the walls and in the ceiling, as a local cafe should have, if you ask me. I enjoyed it. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the coffee was a let down. Why are the vast majority of cafes unable to distinguish between a flat white and a latte? I order a flat white because I don't want 2cm of froth. I want a FLAT white. Flat whites, lattes, cappuccinos, most places don't differentiate, just put some chocolate powder on one of them. Too bad the flavour wasn't good either. Clear bitterness from over-extracting. I liked the place though, so I'll probably be back and give them another chance or two. Maybe I was just unlucky with the barista.
Stopped in for a Sunday morning coffee. The service was a little slow but the coffee was quite delicious. A beautifully strong blend with an instant kick. As has been my criticism of many Brisbane cafes so far, the price is high with almost $5 for a small strong coffee.
First time here. its 7.30am on a Sunday and 7 customers. staff are very welcoming. i ordered my standard fare of skinny cap and fruit toast. Toast was nice, presented well with lashings of pre buttered love. coffee however is bitter and lacks any taste which is a shame as they use Woffee beans. temperature is good but lacks any taste
