This is my go to coffee in Brisbane. Has never let me down. I head there a good couple of times a week for an iced long black and every time it’s perfect. Really friendly staff, it seems they might have had staff changeovers a couple of times over the years but whoever has served at the counter has been lovely. My partner is a fan of their matcha or chai lattes as she’s not a coffee drinker. Also try their breakfast options, we like the chia bowl.
One of the best coffee shop experiences I’ve had. Drank both a piccolo and a latte on a busy Saturday morning. Lining up to order the coffee took longer than for the staff to make both coffees and get them to our table. The quality was very high. Silky smooth texture and a strong grind. The staff were all very friendly and had obviously been part of the team for a while. The atmosphere was a bit hectic, which you would expect on a Saturday, but that didn’t bother me at all. Though that type of environment wouldn’t suit everyone.
It takes a lot to impress me with coffee these days. I popped in to Bellissimo to grab a bag of beans for home use (as I do every week), when you buy a 450g bag or bigger they give you a complimentary coffee. Today I opted for a takeaway piccolo on their house blend. It was probably one of the best cafe coffees I've had this year. It was absolutely sensational and so felt compelled to write this review. Not sure of the barista's name but I sure hope I see him there more often.
