Visited NFNG on a Saturday from brunch. Reading the reviews we expected them to be using ‘coffee collective’ coffee from Copenhagen but then seem to cycle through a series of different microroasters. When we visited then had bonanza coffee (Berlin) and triple CO coffee from Bristol. We had a flat white, frappe and long black. All of these where very well made. The frappe without the monin chocolate was perfect and a good coffee flavor. Overall very impressed and would definitely recommend it for a coffee stop. For food, we tried the eggs Montreal and Benedict. The portion size was smaller than expected for the price, but the quality made up for it. We sat outside which was very comfortable even on a busy day. It has an excellent location and the staff where very friendly - albeit a bit short staffed based on how much running around they had to do. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and not overcrowded at all.
It’s easy to see why this spot rates so highly... The coffee is expertly made by baristas who know what they are doing using a range of delicious beans. My flat white was velvety, smooth and just the right temperature. The place itself has got an inviting, modern and warm fit-out with a terrace out front for hanging out. The staff are friendly. The neighborhood offers a great stroll and many others places to check out.
One of Berlin's top specialty coffee shops! Excellent coffee (beans from Copenhagen's famous The Coffee Collective) and delicious cakes to try. Beautiful, cozy place with enough seats inside+outside. They also offer very good breakfast/brunch, and have coffee accessories for sale, including the famous (and expensive) handmade Comandante coffee grinders. Kees Van Der Westen Spirit Triplette espresso machine.
