A little eclectic courtyard after walking through a small cellar. Friendly staff and nice food. Coffee was well made. Had a cappuccino and a latte. Both right temp, good strong flavour and proper milk consistency.

Surprise find, went for a wine and cheese platter and finished with a decaf flat white and regular flat white, perfect crema, perfect temperature, perfect milk = perfect coffee. Just to make sure it wasn't the wine, we went back next day and it was as good .

Marty & Sue do a pretty good job in looking after the locals & tourists - if you like your coffee with a bit of grunt, then this is the place for you. Occassional wine-tasting is an added bonus or if you need to pick up a local wine in a hurry.

My coffee actually tasted muddy, which I strongly dislike. The food however is great. The cafe is really not child friendly in winter, as they use panel heaters. There is an outdoors play area/cubby out the back for nice days though. The decor/atmosphere is also really funcky.

Cafe Providore makes coffee using it's own roasted beans - Grata Espresso. The long black I sampled was very smooth with no hint of bitter aftertaste. Thoroughly enjoyable coffee, with friendly staff in a quaint setting. Recommended.
