The venue is small but relatively comfy. The staff are courteous and bubbly and the food is great. Good selection of pastries and sandwiches all made freshly. Plenty cakes and tray bakes and space for a buggy although a few buggys would take up the whole shop!

I was surprised, after ordering a double espresso, to see the barista make two shots individually, then combine them in a larger cup. The final result was very long, and completely lacked any character. It was not burnt, not sour, no burnt tyre flavour, but nor was it even slightly tasty. It was what Italians might call acqua sporca. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired as well, with sticky tables and a generally unkempt air about it. The service was courteous, but cold.
