The worst service in Ballarat!! 6 staff on all behind the counter, all with so much attitude the worst of all is the owner or manager.... so disorganised no systems in place a few people walk in for take away coffee and the people sitting in the cafe spending goof money get forgotten. I'll never return!!

Superb coffee, superb all day breakfast (very civilised I reckon). Having my second strong skinny mug of latte. Fare & coffee comes to the table hot, very well presented. Staff beautifully genuinely friendly

This place serves Axil's coffee beans. I had an Ethiopian Yiga as an espresso - berries fruit forward and dark caramel sweetness. Also had a take away latte - good balance of milk and coffee.

Asked locals for best place to get specialty coffee, Yellow Espresso was on everyone's list. Ballarat's hidden gem. Caleb the barista was on song belting out my double restretto, long black and cold drop all single origin's from El Salvadore via Axil. Nutty, Belgian chocolate and a touch of floral flavours all consistent in each of my coffee's. The only critique would be to ditch the vanilla syrup option from the cold drip. You shouldn't have to pollute it with anything, it doesn't need anything else. Great coffee extraction and food also rocked! I will be back when visiting Ballarat again.

This espresso cafe is certainly in the specialty category on the coffee, food, smoothie and atmosphere front. Using Axil seasonal blend, this place has captured big city cafe culture for the growing city of Ballarat.
