The staff was very helpful and on the ball. Food and coffee was excellent. Prices are reasonable for Ballarat. Melbourne is cheaper and can have better tasting coffee, but this local and very good. Great job L’espresso.

By far the worst coffee in Ballarat. Grossly overextracted and using terrible beans. Calling the staff here baristas is an insult to baristas.

Owner and staff are generally quite rude especially to take away coffee orders. Coffee has slipped, well behind FIKA and Yellow Espresso. Ballarat has plenty of better options now.

This was a real bonus to pick for breakfast. One of the best eggs benny we have enjoyed. The smashed avo with Meredith goats cheese was divine. Topped off with one of the best almond croissants ever. Quirky place (emphasis on old vinyls and a range of different CD's), nice background music, very pleasant coffee (Vittoria) well served. Sets a high standard.

Generally it was good. Service ok coffee ok food was great. The building is lovely and has a good old school atmosphere. Not the best coffee in town - Vittoria beans- but the overall package is good.

The coffee's not bad and I love the atmosphere. Eclectic decor and a great location, but the service is mediocre and the staff are haughty. Can't fault the food thought-it's excellent.

This place is a credit to Ballarat. the decor is a stunning. it is stylish, relaxing like stepping back to a more simple time: pressed tin ceiling, timber shelves and subtle lighting. not o fluro in sight. the coffee is lovely. the food does not lack any detail or effort, even when making a vegan adaption. I will defiantly coming back here..again and again.
