Quite a nice ambience and warm inside in winter as long as the door is closed :) My cappuccino had NO froth on it which was disappointing considering their bane and my specific order. However the coffee did taste really good. The service was friendly although not very efficient but she was only new apparently. The sautéed mushrooms on breakfast were exceptionally tasty ... but be warned it is quite expensive there.
Good atmosphere, lots of seating, good menu for breakfast and lunch, good coffee and more parking that you can kick a football at (thanks to the shops). Coffee a smooth and round blend, not at all disappointed. Everything you’d expect for a buzzing little cafe that is a crowd drawer but not competing to be the best in the country. My only tip would be to add more sound dampening inside.
Shop number 4 for the day Froth and Fodder I have heard good things about this place and as we drove to look for a park the place was packed. Luckily they have a chesterfield and seating which is for coffee and cake only which is perfect for us. A friendly feel with vintage / industrial decor with a warm rumble of conversation. The server did not know my normal "Magic" order but where very friendly about it so I got my back up order of a strong late. The coffee was good although slightly bitter in the finish, but the chocolate brownie I had with it was amazing and cut through any bitterness. Really nice place, the food looks amazing and the staff are very friendly. I would not make a special trip just for the coffee but for food and overall experience will definitely be back.
This cafe is overdue a review. As visitors from Canberra who are coffee connoseurs (so) we appreciate great coffee. Staff went way beyond to discover what made their granola gluten free. (oats aren't according to coelac Australia. Our piccolos were good. But not to our usual preferences.
