Nestled amongst native bush, beside the Khandallah pool, you can't beat listening to Tui birds singing while you drink a latte or two. An idyllic setting, a little out of the way, but you'll be pleased you found it.. Good food, great coffee and the owners Georga and Terry are nice people, and the staff friendly. It's become the cafe of my choice to take people to, or to have lunch and a quiet read of the paper. It had a good review in the paper a while back, so don't just go on my recommendations: http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/local/cafe-reviews/1750035/Cafe-du-Parc Coffee roaster from memory is Wellington Co-op coffee, and all staff make consistently good coffee. I haven't had a bad or average one in over 3 years of visiting here. Cheers Rob
