Cool place. Chill and funky music. Had the egg and avocado sandwich as a set with soup. All super fresh and delicious. Tried the latte in a dark roast and one with a light roast. Preferred the light roast latte. If I lived around here I’d be back. A couple of tables outside.

Located inside the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre so loads of small arty shops with items made locally. Like the other reviews CG it’s a funky place. Right opposite is a Heritage Tea Store and if you walk out the back of the building you’ll be right next to Tools coffee if you turn left. Flat white was good. So worth visiting the coffee shop and the whole complex.

A small place which has been open a year with about8 seats. Friendly service. They serve bagels, sourdough, omelettes, granola and a selection of cakes. I had a small flat white. Smooth milky texture that mixed well with the espresso. I’ll be back for sure. Open weekdays 8am-6pm and weekends 9am-6pm.

Very clean lines and space which doubles up in the evenings as a mini lecture theatre/classroom for coding courses. All the usual coffees. Some cakes like banana bread etc. Pretty chill place. The owner is dedicated to up skilling people in coding. A great concept.

Worth the short walk or ride from the city centre. If not for the coffee then certainly for the spectacular murals in the car park opposite. Flat white was good as was the halloumi bagel and fresh OJ. Loads of tables inside and 4 large tables outside. Very chill.

As Yarrow says. It's surprisingly a m pleasant place and the latte was great. And of course it assists adults from the Nesbitt Centre by offering them work there on a part time basis.

This could be my next go to coffee shop if I can get here before 3 for some of their food. Alas they stop food at 3. They do have cakes though until they close at 7. The latte had a complex taste and but smooth and nutty.

I liked it. A funky cafe. I had the small latte. Very milky and sweet taste. If you like more of a coffee taste ask for a double shot. But a pleasant drink. The chai latte had frothy top like a cappuccino and could perhaps have been a little more spicy. It's very large.

Good service and lovely building. As for the latte...not so good. Bitter after taste, milk wasn't frothed fully. Tasted like a Starbucks. More training would help. http://www.latteartguide.com/2013/02/steaming-milk_22.html Perhaps too long a pour of the espresso. Hot chocolate was thick dark chocolate style and a great strawberry milkshake.

Well previously stated grumpy barista is no longer with Rave so all is good. Check this place. Great coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. A few seats and you can look through the glass to the roasting area. Good cakes too. Take away cups only as the local council states it's not a cafe and don't allow proper cups. Had the latte. Smooth and nutty.

Just the place to come post surf. Cafe latte was smooth and nutty and in a small cup so not too much milk. Freshly squeezed OJ is delicious. As is the avocado and egg on toast. Large open interior. Cool place. If you are searching for great coffee this could well be your place.

I like this pace. Great latte. Order, sit and it's brought to your table. Really great croissants and bagels. I switch between here and Craft just around the corner. Mix of locals residents in the know and office goers. Friendly staff too.

I like Craft. Smooth latte's, no fuss sandwiches, croissants, yoghurt and pies. They do drip coffee too and many in the know come here for their coffee. Three seats at the counter and about 5 tables. Serves the local office community and others who know the secret of good coffee.
