Expensive... I’m not sure how they can justify $5.00 for a large coffee. Ive never paid that much in Melbourne! So they’re using quality ingredients (just like the best cafe’s on the mainland do) but surely rent etc is in no way comparible. I suspect it’s just due to lack of competition. So try Bryher just a few doors down, they manage to use great Tasmanian ingredients at a more affordable price.
Serving Toby’s Estate, which personally is not a favourite of mine. However they do a great job of extracting the best from it. I’d put this cafe amongst my top 5 in Potts Point. Room 10, Gypsy, Frankie’s, Primary, Joseph Hyde being the others that excel around here.

Absolutely superb Flat White here this morning. The ‘regular’ size seemed quite small, but that’s probably why the flavour cut through the milk so well. I’m a Room 10 regular normally, but this would have to be on par with them (comparing coffee only). Decor is very cookie cutter ‘trendy minimalist’, and needs something to give the place a bit of character. Overall though a great addition to the area, and I like how they’re open super early :d

Serving Campos, and I'd argue they do a better job of it than the actual Campos Dulwich Hill which i often frequent. Food is EXCELLENT, quality, taste & presentation is absolutely top notch. A slightly higher price point when I initially looked at the menu, but it is totally worth it and some. Wish this was my local!

As others have stated: Campos Dark roast (I thought it was ok) but definitely too hot. Ambience inside is definitely not to my taste, feels like a bar or brothel waiting room. There's a large neon sign with 'Drug Store' but the rest of the theme doesn't point to that at all. Service however was excellent and they had a great range/supply of newspapers.

Supreme brand coffee beans...say no more. Their amazing Barista has fled up the road to Federal Diner, but 'Kai' remains my favourite place for a coffee in Wanaka. I believe only here do you get that beautiful hit of crema in the first sip. But by all means if the queues long, head up the street to Federal or even The Good Spot.

STILL NO NEWSPAPERS! And score marked down accordingly. I'd come more often, stay longer & probably buy something to eat if there were newspapers. It's clearly no oversight either, you've obviously made a cheap but concious decision to not spend just a few dollars a day. Something that pretty much every other cafe does.

Now scoring cafe's down for not providing newspapers, or having copies that are very old...in this case over a week old and one that was July 30! Unacceptable. If you want a high score and aim to be a professional cafe, then atleast one newspaper is mandatory. Anyway coffee is first rate (probably equal with nearby Swallow Coffee) and the service was good.
