Nice little spot for a takeaway long black. Juicy Ethiopian (Sidamo??) that had a lovely long finish. Took a while to cool but that's probably just the boiler set for tea etc. Welcoming staff and was greeted with a smile ... goes a long way!

Nice vibes and friendly service, not a huge amount of knowledge about what coffee they were serving other than it was from Seven Seeds. Good enough for me to give it a go. No idea of origin but think Ethiopian in my batchy. Sweet with citrus overtones.

There's good reason to keep coming back here and that's the coffee, service and atmosphere. What a treat to have so many beautiful filter coffees to choose from too. I had a natural Colombian pourover that was surprisingly clean considering the abundance of funky fruit.

Sadly have to agree with some of the previous comments. Been a while since i was in Port Melbourne and whilst Balderdash used to be a great visit i wouldn't rush back. Decent enough espresso with bright acid at the front and a sweet finish. Service was slow and the place looks like it needs a good clean.

Previously Velvet Bar, this addition to Port Melbourne has a bright and clean interior that is far more welcoming than its predecessor. The coffee i had wasn't bright and clean though. Bit dark and old school like it's predecessor. Nice vibes and was bustling so they're certainly doing something right!

Wonderful spot down a South Yarra back street. Newest addition to the Disciple Coffee Roasters venues (from the Monk Bodhi Dharma crew). Still very new and there's a wonderful buzz to the small shop. I had a delicious Panama Gesha as a long black. Definitely worth a visit!

As much as i like supporting smaller cafes, i still really enjoy visiting a Melbourne institution like Seven Seeds. Not as much wow as it once held but still spot on. Bolivian batch brew to go was delicious.
