Really lovely shop. It’s a great place for a quiet coffee on a weekday. Be prepared for a worthwhile queue on the weekend for brunch. They use Square Mile and make a lovely filter with it. I’m not a massive fan of Red Brick however so I tend to give espresso based drinks a miss here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

A cool shop with clear Antipodean influence. The coffee can be great here. With the filter I’ve had it both lovely and hot, but also really tepid on arrival. Flat whites are tasty with their Caveman blend. The staff are quite chilled and the blonde/red haired bearded barista in particular is a very friendly guy.

Beautiful spot just off the Putney High Street. The staff are pleasant and it’s always a quiet, calm place to have a chat or a quiet read. Unfortunately the coffee leaves a lot to be desired but still a solid place if you fancy a tea and a cinnamon bun!

Lovely coffee shop in Richmond. The food is really good quality if a little steep but understandable as it’s in Richmond. The baristas are knowledgable about the coffee they sell which is good to see. I find it unusual that when they make a drip filter they don’t have cups big enough so you don’t receive all of what’s been made. The pick up area is a bit manic on a busy day as they don’t run coffees to the customers sitting in considering this is hospitality at the end of the day. Still the best in Richmond by a long shot.

The girl serving me from the door (covid precautions) was really pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately the barista in the shop was shouting his head off for some reason which made ordering difficult which was frustrating and poor manners in general when working in hospitality. The coffee itself didn’t redeem him - they use a blend called Black Saint and I’m not a fan. Whether or not there’s robusta in the blend I can’t be sure but it certainly tasted that way. Not for me.

Rosslyn is exactly what I look for in an independent, specialty coffee shop. The coffee is on point and the baristas are always willing and able to chat about options. The atmosphere is great, they really buy into the idea of making specialty coffee more welcoming and it shows. Their retail section is ever changing and supplies coffee from some of the best roasters around the world. They don’t allow their attention to get pulled away by expansive food offerings however the small few snack they do have are very tasty. The shop is small and has some bars to perch at but as it’s Central London take away is the game. And I love the hand thrown cups they use! Unreal effort from the owners and staff!

They now do double shot as standard and a delicious 6oz flat white. The service is fun and relaxed and always quicker than I expect while the coffee is taken seriously but without pretension! Best in Putney for me :)
