lbeeee reviewed 4M Espresso
Spent a few hours at 4M Espresso last week, really enjoyed the coffee and the epic steam punk ish fit out. I had a flat white and a cold drip. The cold drip was awesome, they have built custom drippers out of copper and group head filters. They staff were friendly and while the inside seating is minimal it was a great place to chill and get some stuff done on the laptop.
Visiting family near Wollongong and this place is always good to stop at. Their coffee is consistent - both their espresso and filter options - and the location is a cool old basement. A bit chilly inside and sometimes the staff can seem a bit random. However the coffee is worth it every time and if you are keen their cakes are sold by the 100gram and well worth a try.

Grrat cafe, Britney and her team are legends. I have been going to this place a few times a week the last few months and cannot fault their coffee, the batch brew addition has been incredible also. Tip: parking down the street at the abandoned shopping centre is a good call :)

This cafe smashes it out of the park, beautiful city location, great fit out / atmosphere. They have a neat ordering system, bathrooms, multiple blends (from different roasters). My wife and I sat at the benches just across from the espresso machine the other week, had a brilliant chat to one of the baristas. Tried out a few blends and was extremely happy with their coffee, got to sample a few treats they had been baking, overall a great experience. Only minor issue was one of the meals came out a bit delayed and not well cooked, they fixed it up and made a new one though. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the city.

Friend took me here this week, was a great experience, the owner and staff were good to have a chat about the coffee they are using and keen to recommend something different. Great coffee, uncle joes if you're into that kind of thing. Only reason I didn't give the atmosphere a 8+ is there are only outside seats. When it gets warmer, this won't be an issue but the cold mornings makes this a tougher sell for people to sit down. Beyond that, the location is a nice suburban street off the main roads enough that there aren't heaps of cars driving by. Norman park is great and on a sunny day I would be happy to stick around for a while and smash through some coffees. Special point about their milk, they do not use Maleny, they use uncle joes milk. Reverends use this also, I actually really like it, Maleny has a risk of being too sweet / creamy and can be a distraction, this milk however does a great job.
