A true speciality coffee shop hidden away off the main drag of Burleigh heads. Over looking the waterways, I enjoyed a beautiful fathers day breakfast with the family and what is in my opinion, the best cup of coffee you will find on the Gold Coast. Keep up the good work

Had a long black and went back for a latte. Long black really lacked any real body to it. In milk it was much more pleasant but still very washed out. If i do go back I think a Piccolo would be the best way to get the best out of their coffee

If you are after a high quality coffee served with love and friendly service (unlike other places along the main drag of Kingy) this is the place to go. My organic FW had a complexity and full mouth feel usually only reserved for more upscale sit-down cafes. Fantastic job. They also do fresh juices which I was told by the better half was amazing!!!

Service was quick and efficient. My Capp was poorly made, milk lacked texturing and only came with a single shot.

I found this place on bean hunter and it lives up to its name "Backstreet Espresso". A small set of shops in the back streets of Carina. Using Elixr coffee which I haven't tried before. My latte was very washed out, for a 12oz on a double riz I find this very odd. Next time I'll ask for a triple shot. My long black was a lot more full bodied, the expresso blend is a well balanced mix of sweet floral finished with a full mouth feel of chocolate. Also order T/A turkish bread toasts. They were Delish!! great job guys. Service was quick, coffee was hot, they thanked me on the way out. 8/10. nice work!

The 1st time I went was a busy Saturday morning, unfortunately someone took my coffee by mistake, they happily remade it for me after a little wait. I finally got it, it was a nice surprise, a little bitter but still could taste the fruitiness through the coffee, the barista was very apologetic.

I sat on what was a quiet Saturday morning. I had a long black which was beautiful balanced. I Also had an espresso what which tasted a little chalky but still had a nice full mouth feel.

Stumbled upon caffeine kings after giving up on paddock coffee. A very nice surprise to see a foliar face behind the machine. Using 5 senses, a nice change from the regular Toby's estate that is overpopulating the gold coast. Cool fit-out and very friendly service. I hear they're now using Clemons coffee so another trip will be made shortly. Highly recommended.
