These guys are great. Batch and spro were delicious, staff are chatty and helpful, fit out is very cool. Good to see a high quality new player.

These guys are good, had a couple of nice filters and espressos here. Better than the other couple of options in St Ives.

These guys are great. Very good coffee - they know how to extract properly to highlight flavor and sweetness. Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and food is fresh and tasty. Can't fault.

These guys are mad for old school ristrettos - ie super underextracted. Was expecting quality, very disappointed.

Not that great, really don't understand the high scores. Both coffee and food are average at best. If you're in the area and don't want to travel for a better option then sure, but definitely don't go out of you're way.

Coffee and atmosphere are great. Great to see Seven Seeds coffee infiltrating Sydney, and these guys pull it nicely. SOs and filters are also a winner. Food menu is funky, but could do with some more options and some staples.

Cafe owner denied a Brazillian man a job "because he was black, and my customers don't want a black person making their coffee. I don't think black people can make good coffee." Wow. What a racist. Looks like from the reviews whoever he has employed can't make coffee either. Put him out of business I say.

Coffee wasn't great. Espresso was over extracted and bitter/muddy - it's not that hard to make Campos Superior taste good in milk really. Milk not steamed well - lots of bubbles and no latte art. Disappointing really.

Really good, best coffees we had in Orange. Sumatra doppio and Nicaragua pour over - both very good, and highlighted the origin characteristics with good sweetness and body on both. Service and knowledge of the barista was great.

Coffees were not good at all. Both 3/4 FW were muddy, bitter, stale and over extracted, and milk was poorly steamed. Very expensive too at $4.40 for regular coffee! Service was fine but knowledge of coffee poor. Not recommended.

Coffee here was very poor. Maybe due to it being 4:30 on a Monday arvo, but it was not good. Very poor espresso, very poor milk, almost couldn't finish it. Not at all what I expected from the reviews.

Summary: Food - Poor. Coffee - Poor. Service - Fair. Atmosphere - Good. Detail: Coffee had an ashy bitterness and stale taste. Stale is obvious - not grinding fresh. Ashiness, not sure how you accomplish this on a GB5. Just plain poor. Both burgers had sickly sweet buns and sauces, couldn't finish them. The salads were way too basic for the price, and didn't even have great flavor. The atmosphere is nice, the service was ok. I'm not coming back.

Very good. Double espresso was made properly (not as a ristretto!) and served with a mineral water and sample of the ground coffee to smell - great idea and experience. Flat white and LB both made very well too, and the food was good as well. Very cool location too.

Seriously good double espresso. Smooth, buttery, hint of fruit with no astringent after taste. Barista really knew his stuff, and his recommendation didn't disappoint.

It's ok. Tried a few times and seems coffee is roasted a bit too dark and/or gear/coffee not quite set up right, so always tastes a little ashy. Food is pretty good.

Unfortunately not so good. Both cap and pour over had a bitter dryness to them that we really didn't expect. Quite disappointing.

The coffee here is seriously bad. A cool fit out does not make the coffee taste good. Seriously do yourself a favor and go to pretty much any other cafe in Wahroonga. Seriously.

Seriously great coffee, getting better and better. These guys know their coffee and know how to make it shine! My pick is either their piccolo (150ml ceramic, perfect milk coffee size) on the SO if it's a goodie in milk, or a batch brew - Do yourself a favor and check it out.

These guys are quite inconsistent now, it totally depends on who's behind the machine. I have had some fabulous coffees from one guy a few months ago, but some very poor ones from other staff more recently. They really need to get a couple of good baristas to turn out moe consistent quality.

The fit out is cool and the food is nice - but this is a coffee review site, and the coffee here was so bad that we only had about 1/4 of each. There are many cafes taht produce average to poor coffee - but there aren't many that I can't finish - but this was one. Watching the guy behind the machine and it made sense - doser is always full of old stale grinds, the basket wasn't not wiped out, group wasn't flushed, shot ran way too long and the milk was burned and steamed ahrd not silky. I was really hoping this place would be good - even acceptable - but it just wasn't. If you want a good coffee in Wahroonga, go down the road or round the corner.

Oh man, so good. Down from Sydney for the weekend and stopped in for a coffee Sunday arvo. Stayed for another. We had a pourover, cap, a so espresso - and then another so espresso it was so good. Came here about 9 months ago and still amazing. So few places hit the nail on the head - this one smashes it.

Not great experiences here. First time they served me my espresso in a paper cup. I didnt ask for takeaway, and who serves espresso in a paper cup? Second time I had a long black. I was charged $4.50. That's almost five bucks for a coffee! I was offended but thought I'm prepared to pay a premium price for a premium coffee. It wasn't premium at all. It got worse as it cooled instead of better, meaning it was extracted poorly. Very disappointed. Had better service, coffee and prices within 2 mins walk.

Tried this place a few times since my last review... mainly because so many other people rate it so highly. I don't understand why. It's better than places that fill the doser with stale grounds and burn milk, but not by much. The coffee is slightly above average at best. Go here if you need heaps of space for meeting with large groups of people, otherwise go to one of the number of small boutique cafes around the North Shore that really know coffee and produce the goods. There are a handful within about 10 mins drive of Lindfield that rock.

This is quite a cool place, but I feel like its trying to be too many things at once. I guess that's why it gets good reports in the media but it's a bit too much in my opinion. Service was good and helpful, the manual brew bar is cool, and having a Robur for decaf is pretty committed! Coffee was very good, but still gets outdone by the handful of places turning out the best in Melbourne. Worth a visit!

Great little coffee joint. Very good and knowledgable service from the staff, very focused and passionate barista! Wife had a cap and I had a syphon, both were very good. These guys know their stuff, make awesome coffee, and the place is a buzz to be. Definitely get there!

Very cool refurb of an industrial sort of room and you can smell roasted coffee from a while away. Service was great and the staff very knowledgeable about the coffees on offer. Ordered a cap and long black and both were very good. Smooth sweetness from the house blend and citrus and lime from the the SO long black.

Awesome - definitely one of my favorites. Atmosphere is great, styling is cool but a bit different to most cafes. Service was excellent - as I was looking at the descriptions of the coffees I was asked by 4 different staff if they could help, and chatted to one for a few minutes even though the cafe was packed. My long black was great - bright with blueberries, just like the tasting notes and my wife Brazilian cap tastes like liquid snickers - so nutty and sweet and smooth. And that 6 group, wood handled Synesso is AMAZING!
