To imaboomer and mystique, not sure what you are going on about or why you are reviewing a CLOSED cafe. As a customer I have never had anything but the best here, best service, best coffee and best food. You most certainly are a TROLL and need to be banned. It's unfortunate that Beanhunter do not police this on the site. The comment about vomit is offensive and ignorant, the other about Bunker only shows that you probably are from there or a misguided customer thinking your doing them a favour, your not.

This is our 3rd visit and you can see it's looking a little tired. Great position close to the park for families. Food was nice but more expensive than I believe Cafe prices should be. Coffee was average and needs some work, both of us did not finish our coffees due to the coffee quality. Staff were friendly but more into conversations amongst themselves than with customers. There was rubbish and plates left from previous customers that wasn't cleared away while we were there.

Went here with the kids and was disappointed in a few things. All sweets were pre packaged and a little stale. The guys were more concerned with try to fix the music system than serve customers. Coffee was OK but not great, and the service when they got there was OK. Would have thought that it would have been more polished given it's ranking here.

Not sure what's happened here but since my last visit it seems different. Staff have very low energy and the few times I came for coffee this week it was the same. My first coffee was off and had an unpleasant after taste. The service was too slow and not good for people rushing to work, there seemed no sence of customer focus and speed of service. Staff seemed a bit disinterested and lacked any customer engagement and were more interested in conversations amongst themselves. Could just be an early morning thing, not sure if it picks up through the day.

Coffee had sat for too long when I received it and the foam had started to breakdown and the milk had lost it's silky texture. Good was delicious. I had the pancakes and they were presented well. Like the coffee it had sat for a while and the ice cream had melted considerably, still nice but would have been better.

Coffee was smooth and pleasant tasting. Like many other Cafe's in Canberra they serve Ona Coffee. Service was good and attentive. I did not get the pretentiousness that other reviews below did. Food was presented well and the fit out was really cool and clean. The place was packed and is clearly a popular place for locals and visitors.

Love the coffee here, hands down one of the best in Brisbane. Service is always great, food is good, fresh and tasty. Inside always has a nice feels to it, calming, relaxing atmosphere to waste a Sunday morning. It's Easter Sunday and not a lot open, Lola never seems to let you down. The hot cross bun and espresso ice cream sandwich was a fun treat.

This is the biggest problem with this app, an average cafe can distort the ratings by getting friends and familly to do multiple reviews. This really devalues this app. This is not a true indication of the quality of coffee in Brisbane. I challenge any real coffee person to review this place fairly and see what the result is. The fitout is country cottage and pretty dated. Ive been here a few times now and every time its the same, average.

One of my fav places in Brisbane, went in to check out the new Spring Menu and it was good, tried the new Chick Schnitz toastie with Wasabi Mayo (thanks for the recommend DazGC) and it was yummo! Coffee and service here are always the best, if you are near the Gabba its worth dropping by for both the food and the best coffee in Brisbane. They use Coffee Alchemy beans and they are magic!

I have to agree with Paddywagen, went there after reading all these stellar reviews and while the coffee was very drinkable it doesn't seem on par with others in the list. The atmosphere was a little bit too homey for my liking and lacked the design of some other cafes. Atticus Finch, John Mills, Told You So, Josie Nth, Lola Coffee, The Tiller all provide a much better offering in a more stylish environment. In saying that it was OK, I was just expecting more given that this app rates it as Brisbane's Best!

Nice place. I enjoyed my coffee and the mince with toast in the sun. Was a little chilly but not to bad. Ciffee was nicely done.

Glad you enjoyed Food4Thought69! Next time you pop in don't be shy about asking for a blanket or the heater to be turned on - we don't want you shivering!

This is a great cafe in the Hills district in Sydney, great atmosphere and good coffee. Surprised to see a place like this attached to a Westfield, really convenient that the bus stops out the front. Food is good too, loved the bacon and egg roll.

As one of my fav Brisbane Cafes I feel the need to comment on "the Plow" review below. I'm not sure what world that he/she is living in but I have been to a lot of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Cafes and find the comment about the food being expensive very ignorant. Everything I have had at Lola has been moderately priced and consistent with or below other Cafe prices (especially given that they make it all fresh on site). As for the Chai, why not address it there and tell someone. Happy for others to comment, am I wrong?
