Nice (although not very "warm") specialty coffee shop in a lively neighborhood, very close to the Ostkreuz train station. You have to try their famous nitro coffee --and bacon pancakes are to die for!

Must-visit specialty coffee shop. Top espresso and filter coffee. They sometimes host famous roasters and have their roasts for sale. Minimal decoration, limited seating inside and outside, no toilet.

One of Berlin's best breakfast spots! Raw decoration, great egg dishes. It's always packed, so here's the plan: Drop by, leave your name on the list, take a walk, come back after an hour or so, enjoy!

Hipster specialty coffee shop in an unexpected place, a small corner inside a concept fashion store. You can enjoy great espresso and flat whites here, as well as browse the store for clothes and accessories before/during/after your coffee :)

One of Berlin's best specialty coffee shops --must visit! They are especially strong with brews (siphon and V60), always having 4-5 different single-origin coffees for tasting. Note that seating inside and outside is very limited, and there is no toilet.

Arguably the best coffee in Berlin. Simply the best espresso macchiato I've ever had, and great flat whites. They run their own roastery (Fjord), and sell many roasts for home. Breakfast looks top too! They also have a smaller to-go shop next door, to get your coffee and beans faster if you don't plan to stay.

A hole-in-the-wall type of place, but still one of Berlin's must-visit specialty coffee shops. Excellent flat whites! Almost non-existent sitting. Kees Van Der Westen Spirit Duette espresso machine.

One of Berlin's top specialty coffee shops! Excellent coffee (beans from Copenhagen's famous The Coffee Collective) and delicious cakes to try. Beautiful, cozy place with enough seats inside+outside. They also offer very good breakfast/brunch, and have coffee accessories for sale, including the famous (and expensive) handmade Comandante coffee grinders. Kees Van Der Westen Spirit Triplette espresso machine.
