What an awesome little Roastery - café! ! having work in the area, I followed beanhunters map to this higher-rated local spit. what a find!! the reviews don't explain it at all! They run their own Medium-roast blend, have a darker blend, offer filter options thru their deli-grinder and also seem to have Aeropress, Hario V60, and wouldnt be surprised if theres Chemex and maybe more! definitely worth the hunt via-google-maps to.find! tasty, perect temp, smooth Mocha. (needed the choc, this morn!!)

Really enjoyed my visit this Sunday; atmosphere was buzzing. Hard to find a seat! Music good, staff friendly, amazing food everywhere; but I was there for the coffee. 1st up piccolo was really good. This is A very easy drink to get wrong... The temp was right; flavours balanced, and it tasted like the tail-end of the shot, was 'cut off' just as I like it.. Nxt up, FW, was a nice Cup. The flavours were balanced; bean wasn't too fresh and gassy; Texture good, Temp great.. The Mistral (machine) they're working on, isn't the easiest machine in the world To get right-I know it well. It wasn't the best Art, though every other time, of my 10 or so trips to sourced has been up there w the best. plus it was busy.. We have to learn to be forgiving as customers because so much can go on in the background u wouldn't realise-absolute consistency is pretty much fictitious. All up, great job guys- everyones loving it! Lots of happy customers From what i cld see..!

Piccolo on an Ethiopian 'Gelena Abaya' to start; Perfect temp, perfect Milk (expected-these guys just placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the recent Barista champs) but also topped by a flawless Swan!. Quite salty and intense, very different. Next up, Costa Rican Double Ristretto FW. Amazing. Nuff said

Great piccolo!! Really impressed to hear honesty, that the 'single origin grinder' was (unservable), and playing up- most places would have just still served it, 2nd-rate.. One of the best atmospheric-cafe's in BNE!!

Really enjoyed. Great to see a new place in development, especially with a Probat out the back, ready to take on the micro-roaster world!! LM FB-70, dual Mazzers, two top blends on from Wolf and Proud Mary (until Their in-house roast takes off), T2.. Quite hidden.. The Double Riz FW was great!!

Great service, very clean professional interior though still warm with the dark-wooden furniture. And a brilliant Latte. One of the top west end cafe's.. All the expected specialty coffee-style bells/whistles; La Marzocco, Mazzer grinders, single origin, Bean scene mags, but in this case, the owner/Barista actually blends and Roasts himself !! So if u want more than awesome coffee: perhaps some education; try it out!!

Had an awesome s. FW on a DBL Ristretto, tasted amazing.. Not many competitors at this level on the sunny coast.. The Pork and Cider 'Pocket-of-Joy' was absolutely killer, too.. Amazing value for a quick meal and premium drop...

Finally got to visit this place, I've been hearing about for ages! The coffee selection was astounding, beyond just single origins & chemex/aeropress, the food menu was quite impressive as well, and the attention to detail and quality, frankly was a lot to take in.. Latte was amazing on the driftwood blend, and the Rwandan single origin macchiato was extracted perfectly, w very interesting flavours! Cant wait to go back & try the Dandelion blend!

Every time I'm away from Brisbane, I just miss that Saint Blend, done so well at Cup From Above!! Drink of choice: 3/4 Latte on a double ristretto (as it comes standard).. Place to enjoy drink of choice: That comfy couch, next to the Artwork, w a view of the awesome Synnesso Cyncra!
