Eclectic comes to mind with strong smooth coffee served by Victor Harbour hipsters. If you’re really lucky you can watch the beach volleyball while sipping your latte. Victor Harbour may not be everyone’s cup of tea but Qahwa is worth a visit.

It’s insightful when on a long weekend Monday, management had to send away ~150 hungry punters due to lack of available tables. It’s no secret now that Canvas offers the big 3: good food & coffee, ambience and service. Our waitress was able to articulate the menu specials in amazing detail, something she had been doing all day. There’s an excellent choice on menu - vegan & gf. The calamari salad was perfect.

I can’t believe this is the only decent coffee place in a town like Bairnsdale. Ok coffee let down by the ordinary cafe ambience and noise from the main road. Looks like the food is taken seriously if you are after a hearty brunch.

Coffee was good, location and vista of the Yarra River and Herring Island was sensational. Sometimes the service was a bit vague, but worthy destination if you indulge in a walk along the Yarra. Good gf selection on the menu. One of the unusual places in an ideal location that matches quality food & coffee with ambience.
If you are getting sick of below par coffee quality during your travels along the Great Ocean Road, do yourself a favour and drop into the the Wye General. Not only will you get a professional strong perfectly textured flat white, but the donuts are to die for. Sit out front and take advantage of the views, not only of the local surf, but also the recovery of the forest after the recent bushfires. Coffees here are better than from AB further down the road and definitely worth the scenic drive.

P49 is more than your standard coffee shop. It’s a snappy deli that sells quality hams and cheeses and can customise a brunch out of whatever’s on display or off the [small] menu. Flat whites are generally well made and strong. Great venue to meet up with the locals.

Crowded cafe in busy part of Dublin. Good for a quick stop and catch your breath when battling the outside tourists. Staff behind a tiny counter are flat out servicing the demand while you scoff your latte at the window seat. One of the better places in Dublin for a decent coffee.
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed Cake Face
Cake Face IS a rare find in Kilkenny, if not in Ireland. Not sure if punters are here for the coffee or the multitude of house made cakes and assorted fresh marshmallows to devour in a range of cleverly decorated rooms (including outside courtyard). All sweet-tooths must visit Cake Face.
I am astounded that no one has reviewed this place yet in Beanhunter! There is so much to JMR to enjoy. A place to explore all the different rooms, bars and cafe that will keep your camera occupied for ages. Then there is the range and quality of food that will keep you here watching the many locals and tourists drift in and out. The fact they know how to make a good coffee is a bonus. If visiting Killarney, a drink or a meal here is an absolute must.
When good coffee is as hard to find in Ireland as tall trees, this place is not a bad option to sit and cogitate the view of the harbour. Flat white was drinkable compared to many others. Can be a bit noisy if busy.

Not only did the very kind barista offer to make our flat whites after she had cleaned the machine, and it was 15 mins till closing, and the coffees came out stronger than anywhere else could make them, and we were given a sample of her delicious [gluten-free] mud cake, and .....good karma all round.
Once you enter KK you realise this is the place for those wanting a half decent coffee in Sligo. The girls behind the counter are intent on giving you the best coffee (& even come up to you to see if everything is up to scratch). A window seat overlooking the street is a top spot to share one of their cruffins (muffin crossed with a croissant filled with chocolate sauce).

Industrial space filled with punters indulging intent conversation or punching a laptop. Coffee matches the ambience. Good location to come to, particularly after a walk from the Titanic (15 mins away). Is it the best coffee in Ireland?
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed The Milkman
Finally found a cafe in Scotland that takes its coffee seriously and makes a flat white that makes you want to come back for more. It’s a welcome relief to find a place this good away from the tourist crowds, although petite the seating inside creates the perfect moody ambience. Proof management must be doing the right thing with a constant clientele enjoying the small selection of cakes and drinks.
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed Coffee Chakra
Once again decided to drive 30 km for probably one of the best curries in north east Victoria. Just when you think it couldn’t get much better, the strong perfectly textured flat white arrives. Myrtleford is a great place to visit when Coffee Chakra is open.
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed Coffee Chakra
The dilemma is do you come here for the coffee, curries or conversation? Well it’s all three. Food is so good it’s a bit of a pity that the ambience doesn’t match it, but not to mind. Perfect place to drop in to for any reason. Could see this place getting into a few of the better foodie guides!
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed Saffs
Walk into this busy cafe, sit either out front, inside front room or out back. Doesn’t matter where you sit the food will taste great and the coffee is just the right strength and textured to perfection. Anywhere else the Vegan Breakfast could be a bit ordinary, but not at Saffs, it’s a corker. Apparently the mushroom soup was just like mum used to make. We’ll be back for our just desserts.
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed King River Cafe
With no booking on a busy Sunday, we weren't expecting to get in to KRC, but not only did we get offered an outside table, the menu came out promptly, wine glasses were filled, inside table was found, food arrived in 10 minutes, best duck I've had in ages and a special gf dessert was brought to the table. The only thing I would improve is the quality of the coffee (bit too watery); otherwise menu selection is one of the best and service is excellent. You will enjoy the whole experience at KRC.

If you don't want to head into town in Bendigo, this is the must go venue which ticks all boxes: might fine drinks, including fresh juices and coffees are spot-on; hard to go past the sensational all day breakfasts. Plenty of vantage points and seating to keep an eye on your wheels.
Doubleshot_coffeesnob reviewed Saint Monday
Great 'organic' low carbon miles menu for breakfast & lunch. Coffee could still be improved if the milk could be more textured. Service is extremely friendly [if not a bit too chatty]. Better lattes and I might make Yack THE Saturday destination.
