Top little cafe/restaurant in new area of Coogee. Friendly and attentive staff. Waited for my order just a little longer than what I thought was necessary... Poached eggs, + smashed avo and bacon. Tastefully presented with a swirl of pesto and balsamic. Sourdough was fine, but the knife had trouble coping with the crust, I wanted to sit, and not tear. No biggee. Coffee: ordered a long mac topped up. It was ballsy, with a delightfully complex profile. Milk a little bubbly, could have given a bit more attention to the texture. La Marzocco running Locale beans. Definitely worth considering.

I have been driving past this place for 5 years?? The coffee is pretty good, smooth and well bodied, though you might expect that when you put an extra shot in a 6oz. Even so, well worth a visit. May just be some of the best coffee between Geelong and Camperdown.

Nice location in Hammond Park. Breakfast choices were very nice. We had eggs florentine and Spanish Scrambled Eggs. Delicious. Coffee: Flat White was a bit watery. Probably under extracted. Long Mac was ok, though I think the beans lack depth and definition. Room for improvement, but OK.

This place has some great ambiance inside. Lots of timber and old world feel. There's even a log fire for those excruciatingly common cold and wet Glenorchy day. I warmed to this place the moment I saw the management had a no trim/skim milk policy as a matter of principle. The Berry Crumble is terrific The Cafe's Coffee is good though I thought the beans lacked some definition. Nice texture in the milk. Unsure of the type of beans used. If you're ordering anything in a large cup/mug go the extra shot. There are other coffee places in Glenorchy, but this is the place to start.

The atmosphere at Provisions is hard to beat. An outdoor table in a garden of fruit trees, with delicious fare to boot. Coffee wise Provisions is probably the best in Arrowtown. Well textured froth and a good latte with plenty of kick. It could be said the beans lack a little definition and character, and so the finish is a little flat on the palate. The combination of the the coffee with the acclaimed sticky buns makes a delightful snack, and there's plenty more on the menu if you're after something more substantial.

Saw the 9.0 rating in a 'near me' search, and thought 'well, I just have to try that place.' Ordered a flat white, double shot in a large cup. Great balance, smooth brew, and just the right temp. Great coffee! And the home made caramel slice was the perfect accompaniment. Shafto Lane has a buzz, and Hopper is an important part of that. Get in here and enjoy!

Loved this place. Long Mac Topped Up was terrific. Great roast and gloriously textured milk. If anything served slightly below my preferred temperature. baristas need to watch ambient temperature of the cups... I fully recommend the breakfasts. The smashed avocado with goats feta, eggs and Beetroot smash was brilliant. So good to see this little neighbourhood with some great coffee and wonderful food options. Newtown looks very different to how it was 30+ years ago - I used to live just three doors from S&G

You want to come here... This may have become my favourite Perth CBD coffee spot. Lured here by my friend Jase, I came in early to sample the wares. Way to go Jase, I am impressed. Long Mac Topped Up: perfect temp, silky froth, balanced notes, smooth and satisfying brew, wonderfully executed. La Veen will not disappoint. Groovy interior. Attentive staff. You want to come here...

Excellent brew. We ordered flat whites, and they were served attentively and promptly. We ordered Pecan and Salted Caramel Slice - fantastic piece of creamy buttery pleasure. Just one question: no one wants scalded milk or coffee that's too hot, but what's with the sub 70C milk? Make it warmer folks, just not too hot. And then tell all your barista friends.

This is a little gem. Ordered a long mac, and it was delivered with good temperature - not too cool (I don't know what people don't serve coffee at the correct temperature). Anyway, these guys got it just right. The Yahava beans were delightfully extracted, with all the 'mac' and no bitterness. We ordered the scones, jam and cream. The scones were freshly made on the premises, with the jam coming from a local berry farm. The Old Post Office easily outclassed the other establishment we had traded in the last few days (The Urban Coffee House). Well done friends: great establishment and wonderful coffee!

Came with high expectations. There was great ambience, and service was friendly. Ordered a latte + extra, my partner a standard latte. Well textured foam and a wonderful crema burst on the top. Wait staff delivered the L+ to my partner, saying it was the standard. When the standard came we realised the error. Also, my sticky date cake was delivered *unwarmed* and without the cream. Great tasting cake, but wait staff attentiveness was a let down. Will go back, expecting it to be better next time. In sum: good coffee, great ambience, wait staff need work.

This is my third or fourth visit to Loaf n Lounge. Each time I go I am impressed with the quality of the cakes and the warmth of ambience. Today did not disappoint. My long black was well executed, complete with a rich crema. The cappuccino and flat white did not disappoint, and Loaf n Lounge proved themselves to be the best coffee providers in the Camperdown Cobden district. My only criticism was that the coffees arrived about 10mins after the cakes. It was busy, but a good barista and FOH should be able to manage spikes like these.

We like a good strong latte, and inquired whether we'd need an extra shot. The assistant agreed, and what we received was a great tasting latte with plenty of definition. The milk, however, was somewhat uneven and lacked texture. The cakes (vanilla slice and New York Baked Cheesecake were excellent. They were a meal shared between three. Well done In A Nutshell! We'll be back!
