Awesome, had the Panama single origin, sweet and smooth. This is a great place where you can chat to the roasters and feel like you're part of the action. Hot cakes with organic maple syrup is my breakfast recommendation. ( with a side of bacon). Place has a great buzz. Definately my new Orange favourite.

Lewisham has a new champion! Talented chef Cameron Macpherson's new venture Trainspotting hits the spot. Caffeine prepared with passion and expertise and food to match. No doubt it's hit the locals judging by its popularity. Really happy I found this place.

This has got the potential to be a little Marrickville icon proving that simple fresh food is often the best. It's great value and almost too cheap. The menu is limited and the service a little slow but certainly attentive. Coffee was well prepared but my partners latte was on the weak side. My piccolo was a ripper. Cornersmith is good and will only get better I'm sure.

Back again, coffee was really lovely, well prepared and smooth on the palette. Nice service and breakfast is simple but satisfying. All in all a good experience and some of the best coffee in town.

Absolutely awesome! New coffee roastery cafe in Orange. Judging by the full house it's well received. Beautifully setup and has a pumping vibe about the place. Friendly staff and baristas. Had a Kenyan syphon coffee closely followed by a superb piccolo house blend. Punchy and smooth. The Bateson breakfast has their maple cured bacon. ... Really nice! And I'll be back again tomorrow for more. A great recommendation by my local friends.

Been a while and as busy as always on a cold Orange day. House blend piccolo was great, well prepared and well balanced. Single origin of the day was Guatemala Hue Hue Tenango. Double ristretto was punchy and full of fruity sweetness. Great consistent and on the mark.

On the advice of the last reviewer I took the pit stop on the way to Canberra. A great find indeed. Well prepared coffee, flavorsome combined with more than adequate milk texturing. Smiling friendly service and great pies!

Lovely coffee but a little too hot for me and smiling staff always make a customer feel welcome. Breakfast was pretty good by country standards too. Best choice in Orange on a Sunday morning by a long shot.

Ok it's Bourke NSW! Great coffee? Well let me say it's way above average using locally roasted coffee and a rosetta on top of silky milk. Very very surprising indeed. Well patronized by locals and why not. Great coffee, fresh good food and lovely people.

One week on and the coffee is living up to what's becoming a hot spot in Redfern! Smooth and mellow, that's 2 visits today and same consistent coffee. I'm happy as. Best coffee this side of Redfern. Shortlist is a fave on the other side of the tracks.

Traveling to Mudgee and need that 2 hours of driving break? This bakery is the place that every sales rep talks about and rightly so. Above average coffee and pies, cakes and food to die for! Lemon Merangue pie to die for! You'll take one home too! They are that good!

Lovely location away from the Blue Mountains hustle and bustle. Apparently the former home of the artist Norman Lindsay and a national trust building. Superb lunch and excellent coffee. Very much worth the 3 minute detour. Never new it was there before and a great recommendation. I'll be back for a Sunday arvo unwind after hectic leura shopping

Ok it's coffee in regional NSW... I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff, great coffee and an honest cafe menu. Place is a little kitch and dated but adds to the country charm. Downed 2 good lattes and was a happy camper!

Like the previous reviewers are leading to "this ain't good coffee" unless bitter and under extracted with no milk density is an attribute? Up side is great food and friendly service! If only they could just nail the coffee!

Recently looked at the write up in the good cafe guide and thought I'd check it out for myself. Great coffee by Bills Beans, (whoever this roaster is im loving it and noticing it popping up in a few places) prepared well and smooth and mellow (very Melbourne I thought). Food is sensational and everybody keeps a smile for the customers no matter how manically busy. Actually I should say the place is crap so it stays Marrickvilles best secret! Fact is this place is great. Very inner west and very good fresh food! Serves are plentyfull so bring an appetite!
