Wow, first review! Woo! We stumbled across Bean Green by coincidence and what a pleasant surprise it was. Coffee was absolutely superb. Delicious cappuccino and even more amazing brewover (which one of the boys at BG is actually responsible for designing!). Really friendly service. Passionate and funny; also very helpful with no elitist barista hipster junk. Great experience, guys. I hope you get more publicity. Love the sign on the street "Hot baristas + Free coffee + False advertising" LOL.

Been here a handful of times over the last half a year and have not been disappointed. Magnificent coffee everytime. Nice rotating selection of single origins and a stellar house blend custom made by Wolff. Decent atmosphere, though all outdoors but that's perfect for what this place is. Quiet and relaxed with chill music and no city hustle and bustle. Great service. Knowledgeable staff who didn't seem annoyed at explaining all the beans to me even though they probably have to for every second customer. Much appreciated. Would love to be a regular here if I didn't live an hour away :(

Nice place with good food offerings and great coffee. I actually stumbled across this one while I was looking for another place and I'm glad I did. Not too fond of Supreme taking over every second joint but still a good brew. Love the little deli area with interesting nibblies that are generally hard to find.

Neat little place in South Brisbane. A tad difficult to find parking but fairly worthwhile. I had a pour over which was superb. Strong and sweet, just how I like my filter coffee. Food was good too. I had a Haloumi Burger which was fresh tasting and not too heavy. My wife had a Reuben Sandwich. A bit strong on the pickle and sauerkraut but still tasty and filling. I liked the selection of doughnuts rather than the usual cafe cakes. Service was friendly and keen to share information about beans. I saw photos of a larger seating area than what was on offer when I was there but I'm guessing it was being worked on at the time or something.

We've driven past this place lots of times not realising who was running the show til we ran into Jia (sp?) at another cafe! We thought we better stop next time we drove by. I'm so glad we did! What a neat little place! Such interesting decor with a strong rustic feel. Lots of treats on offer in the deli, from chocolates and jams to breads and teas. Coffee was very nice. Strong and chocolatey. Can't remember what the blend was. However I must say, I know Jia made my first piccolo but I'm not sure he made the second as the first was definitely better. Food was delicious. We had the Avocado Smash and Haloumi Stack. Both a good size to fill up on without any leftover wastage. Very tasty too with the fetta smashed into the avo and house-made relish on the haloumi. Great service from the staff. Everyone was very friendly and happy to help answer questions. Nice to chat with Jia himself also and get the lowdown on the place.

Been here quite a few times now and I don't know how it is that I haven't reviewed it! Sorry guys! I think if you're in the Mt Gravatt area this is the place to go for good coffee and food. Coffee has been consistently of a high calibre. Love the cold drip. Food has always been delicious though a little typical and safe. Service at Deedot is dee-lightful (yeah see what I did there!?). Possibly the friendliest staff I've come across and always amusingly dressed.

Spotted this place driving by and remembered the name from BeanBrewding. Dropping in for a quick sweets break I found myself unable to resist ordering a serve of avocado on toast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a fresh take on a somewhat cliche dish. The mixed seeds and mint made it a winner for me. Banana bread was up next and likewise I was impressed, not just with the unique touches but also the serving size. I'm often left wanting more from banana bread at other cafes but at Jacu I was given more than I could hope for. Coffee was also great. I had a chemex (which I incorrectly listed as pour over in my Drinks) and my wife had a skinny cappuccino. Nice, strong flavour in the chemex and a good serving size. I read on BeanBrewding these guys use more coffee in the filter than most other places - thumbs up. The cappuccino was very smooth and didn't have the disgusting taste most skinny milks do. Service was lovely. A friendly greeting as you walk in is a great way to make customers feel welcome and that's what I got when I came in to order. I was treated to sufficient information about food and coffee. Table service was also very friendly. Nice work, Jacu.

Came here after reading much fuss online. I must admit I left somewhat unimpressed. Firstly, service was largely impersonal and made me feel like I should just place my order and not ask any questions even though I had a couple. When I asked for a filter coffee I was told "we can't, it's broken" whatever that means. Secondly, coffee was mediocre. Piccolo had no froth at all and tasted a little burnt. Not the worst, just not great. Lastly, food. Probably the better aspect of my experience at Nessun Dorma. Delicious French Toast with interesting dressings. Not sure about the Guacamole on toast though - more like bruschetta with avocado. I don't know what other places are on offer in Yeronga but, if I wasn't desperate for a caffeine hit, I would probably just drive a few minutes to Norman Park if this is the best.

Absolutely love Dovetail! This is my idea of the perfect coffee chillout. Positioned away from the maddening crowds of West End, Fortitude Valley and the CBD, it's a great spot to tune out with an awesome aeropress. Lovely food that's well priced and portioned. The presence and passion of owners Adam and Rejoice - friendly and helpful without the usual tiring coffee jargon - make the visit truly enjoyable and make me want to return soon.

Been here a few times now. Every time I've had a great experience. One of the best long blacks I've ever had from the tall manager-looking girl (sorry if you're reading! Don't know your name!). Always good food, maybe a little on the small side. Delicious sweets. Friendly staff.

Went here coz of the talk on Beanhunter. The name "Cleanskin" is generally enough to make me interested. Not bad but not particularly impressive coffee either, especially given the roaster. I know what this bean can taste like, so I was a little disappointed to get a piccolo and cappuccino that tasted like Merlo rather than a majestic Cleanskin. Probably the best coffee in the area though so would definitely recommend Swich to everyone in the area. Better than Hallowed Grounds further down the same road.
