Visited twice, 2 different baristas, 2 different experiences. Younger female barista, welcoming smile, delivered a great coffee all round with at drinkable temperature, great flavour, creamy milk and aroma of 5 Senses and Bonsoy. Older male manager/barista delivered an ave coffee, was too hot which overpowered the flavour, etc and was a let down on previous experience. My rating is the ave between the two. Will do a drive-by first, before coming in.

Generally an option when in a hurry, as never really big queues like on South Street cafe strip. Trading off is quality though, but that's why people use the drive-through outlets right? Today was very disappointing, the very good Toby's Estate Blend was unrecognisable, overwhelmed by the cheap nutty and grainy soy milk being used. Not sure it was even fresh. For the $5 it costs for a coffee, please spend the money and use decent soy milk, like Bonsoy, it's practically used everywhere nowadays.

Very good breakfast, the benedict was great with potato rosti rather than bread, well caramelised and crispy; crispy bacon, poached egg and holl sauce all done very well. Presentation was very good also. Coffee was good also, using the Black Sean blend from Toby's Estate, only fault was splitting in the cappuccino.

Hipster beards are taking over the coffee scene, like gay men to hairdressing salons in the 90's, they're like beacons of quality coffee, helping punters navigate past the domes. Great crema, temperature perfect, balanced blend, may be best cup in Subi atm? Chilled out tunes, friendly staff, nice toasties. Second time in a week, will be back.

Great location at Leightons Beach, even on a wet day looking out over the beach, one of the best around Perth! Layout and fit out is relaxed but quality. Good to see Campos making an impression in Perth, has been big on the East Coast for nearly a decade, hard to go wrong with their house blends. Hope we see some Single Origins in future. Priced like a trendy Sydney beachside cafe, but at the food quality delivered on the price. Breakfast pizza was very good, likewise haloumi. Coffee was well made, very good crema, temperature just right.

Consistently very good coffee, without any splitting of crema, balanced flavoured bean and made quickly by barista. Would be one of the better regional coffee shops in Tassie for all round coffee, food and service. Normally a red flag for me when a place sells egg & bacon rolls, churros and sushi, but all made fresh onsite by a qualified chef, all worth a try!

Excellent new addition to Sth Freo, very good coffee and great food, variety of seating options and friendly & attentive staff. Di Bella blend not that exciting but very well made. A few options to choose was a plus. Table staff need a bit of instruction on what coffee they are serving though, nice of the barista to come over and explain.

Good, reliable coffee spot. Smooth nutty house blend is easy to drink, like option of Bonsoy, or regular soy. Also have a dark blend and single origin. You can text your order ahead, is a convenient option. Overall, good baristas, solid crema and temperature good. Good is worth the visit also.

Great little cafe, thankfully opens at 6am, for an early caffeine hit! The Fiori is a very smooth blend, low bitterness, with rich nutty flavour. Barista's make it consistently well, great crema, with perfect temperature. Great service, always take the opportunity to have a friendly chat!! Great regular coffee spot that you can rely on.

If rating the food, be offering up a 9! Steak sanga was one of best, tender steak with crispy asparagus and great Hollandaise. But coffee was not that outstanding, middling in flavour and strength. Great indoor/outdoor area and pleasant enough service. If they could nail the coffee, this would be a gem!!

Coffee blend is nothing startling to taste but it is consistently made well, temperature, crema, etc and hits the spot for grabbing a quick coffee hit. Doesn't hurt that they're open nights Thurs to Sun. Atmosphere is ok, particularly outside, bit cramped indoors, and please oil the squeaky door, chalkboard anybody? Service is probably letting them down the most, seem more interested in sharing their and for their next day off with one another, than engaging with customers. Anybody heard of a smile?

Smooth and nutty single origin with Bonsoy, and excellent crema, best so far in Tassie. Although haven't tried the top rated coffee shops as yet (seems the whole state is on holiday atm). Atmosphere was very good, open communal table out front with more intimate table seating at rear. Lacking a bit of personality at the counter, what there was, more directed to the regulars. But not unusual to experience this in Tassie.

Stocks a wide selection of single origin beans by Jasper's. Meaning there should be one to try on the day. Today the East Timor Maubisse, mild and subtle in a Cap. Great crema also and temperature was perfect. Not all staff seem to have training in the coffee available. What's a single origin? But overall, the best in the area.

On my second visit, with the younger brother on the espresso and not a seat to spare. Service was punctual but unfortunately, today's combo produced an over hot latte for my friend and what seemed like a burnt cappuccino to me. After a satisfying first visit, I was disappointed on my return visit. Worth a repeat visit, but maybe when it's quieter. In sum, still needs consistency.

Great menu and food options, really the best reason to visit this new cafe. Generous servings and fresh quality ingredients with a slight twist to the norm breakfast offerings. Table and front of house service was a bit abrupt and harried, even though tables only half occupied, but staff may settle after they find their groove. House blend coffee was smooth, but uninspiring compared to the best offerings on Melb, and mild, if not weak. Still, it may please most punters. Crema and coffee art were great though. Single Estate offered more acidity and strength, and again, very well made by barista. Uses Bonsoy, the best soy for coffee. Great range of other drink options, smoothies, juices, etc. and lots of different indoor/outdoor seating options to keep groups happy.

Great range of beans, including a few roasted on site. Knowledgeable and skilled barista, great crema using Bonsoy. Serious about coffee but still a relaxed vibe. As a side, the food was great also, the soft shell tacos and spag bog on sourdough were both great caf foodie items. Spacious layout, comfy diner booth style seating inside and sunny courtyard out front.

As workplace cafes go, this is very good, good crema with both the house blend and single origin being mild and easy drinking. Also a plus for using Bonsoy. Atmosphere does suffers from corporate vibe, but if you spent all day sitting behind your desk you'd be grateful. But if your serious about coffee you be thinking the coffee is a bit weak and go the extra shot.

Great cafe for the serious coffee drinker (and nut aficionado). Skilled barista and use of Bonsoy were good first impressions. Coffee flavour more on the cherry end of spectrum, a lively change from the norm. Stands out from the crowd in this area.

I have graded the experience slightly higher relative to whats on offer in the area. But overall a very well made soy cap, excellent crema, very friendly and can do service from staff, and the use of the best soy milk for espresso, in Bonsoy. Only negative would be that the house blend is not really a stand out and think the owners would be bringing CBD laneway (rather than Carlton standards) to the local area if they went out and sourced a more flavoursome (fresher?) bean. Single origin probably needs more promotion in store also.

Unassuming coffee house with a relaxed indoor/outdoor vibe, actually attached to the library at Cottlesloe. Big plus is that it uses the Black Swan blend by Toby's Estate, a robust blend from one of the best coffee houses in Oz. The baristas have been trained at Toby's HQ in Syd, and deliver a great result. Consistently very good, with friendly but professional service.

Breakfast review: ordered scrambled eggs for friend and I, however, would rate as one of the worst ever. Eggs were heavily coated in butter, swimming would be the best description. Eggs had a slimy texture on palate. Expected a lot more from this well presented. Coffee was good, Toby's Estate are a quality blend and goes well with BonSoy.
