Visited NFNG on a Saturday from brunch. Reading the reviews we expected them to be using ‘coffee collective’ coffee from Copenhagen but then seem to cycle through a series of different microroasters. When we visited then had bonanza coffee (Berlin) and triple CO coffee from Bristol. We had a flat white, frappe and long black. All of these where very well made. The frappe without the monin chocolate was perfect and a good coffee flavor. Overall very impressed and would definitely recommend it for a coffee stop. For food, we tried the eggs Montreal and Benedict. The portion size was smaller than expected for the price, but the quality made up for it. We sat outside which was very comfortable even on a busy day. It has an excellent location and the staff where very friendly - albeit a bit short staffed based on how much running around they had to do. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and not overcrowded at all.

Coffee - apparently the used bonanza coffee in the past but now use “my visit” which is a local roastery and also has a couple of its own cafes. Coffee was above average, but only down rated because the equipment and area is not well marinated. Equipment needs to be looked after. Food - quite expensive for small potion in my view. Good quality but difficult to rate highly and the price. Area - in an arch under the railway line. Nice area and has some outside seating which would be great in summer. Overall though it desperately needs some TLC. Paint peeling, floor well worn, generally a bit of a mess around kitchen and customer area. Could be a lot better.
