Yay! Have found my new favourite coffee shop. This place does amazing coffee every time. It is off the main track, but well worth the effort. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, talented barista.

We visited this cafe and had four coffees. Two words come to mind when reflecting on our visit - passionless and mediocre. Lovely space, but unfortunately the staff seemed disinterested and bored and the coffee was much the same, lacking in any real flavours. luckily there are many alternatives in this town.

I am new to Werribee so I consulted Bean Hunter on where to go. This place had good reviews, so I gave it a go. I was not disappointed. This place has it all - location, excellent staff, great coffee and beautiful food. I am a vegan and had the avocado toast. Was very tasty. The only criticism would be that it was a bit noisy inside. Great place. Would come again if I'm down here.

Mr Benedict is a cosy cafe close to hotels. The staff are awesome; quick, friendly and helpful. The coffee is good. we had a latte and a soy flat white. The fruit toast was very disappointing; all bread and very little actual fruit. The French Toast is more substantial. Not great for vegetarians. Stop in for a coffee and to say hi.

We noticed this cafe as it was open super early. When we finally visited - we had breakfast - Vegan friendly - quinoa porridge and potato cakes - with coffees - delicious 8+ for food and amazing coffee, good service and plenty of space. Child and dog friendly. Worth a visit.

if you a coffee snob..this is the place for you. the barista is passionate about his job, and passes on this enthusiasm to customers in every coffee. Interesting location - a bit out of the way. but well worth a visit.

This place is a credit to Ballarat. the decor is a stunning. it is stylish, relaxing like stepping back to a more simple time: pressed tin ceiling, timber shelves and subtle lighting. not o fluro in sight. the coffee is lovely. the food does not lack any detail or effort, even when making a vegan adaption. I will defiantly coming back here..again and again.

Had a soy flat and a biscuit while I waited for an appointment. Sat in the beautiful wood paneled corridor with photos of old Brisbane. like walking through history..With a coffee for company. The coffee was lovely. Also has the option of single origin. Lovely service. Good music.

wow! just had a coffee here. The best coffee I've had in ages. I've had one here before and it was okay..but this is amazing. I would rate it a 10! This place does either good, great or exceptional coffee.

It's been a little while since I've been to Bold. In that time I have tried many good coffee shops. coming back here made me realize what amazing coffee they make here..and what average coffee I have been accepting. This establishment keeps getting better. When you think you've found the perfect cup..they somehow find room to improve! If you love your coffee..don't go past this place.

In the past few weeks I have experienced some average to very, very bad coffees. to be honest, I wondered whether the general standard of coffee in Brisbane was deteriorating. Coming from Melbourne I truly believed Brisbane is a viable coffee challenger..until recently. Today that changed. I returned to the best Brisbane CBD coffee establishment.. Frisky Goat. There is a reason people line up outside this beautiful building. There is a reason they wait patiently for their coffee. because they make amazing coffee. As I sit outside, savoring the magic in my takeaway cup.. I watch those waiting in line, envious of the magic in the first sip of Frisky Goat coffee. If you step into the city and appreciate coffee.. don't miss this place.

I have visited this place a number of times as it is near where I work. Every other day I start early and am eager for a good coffee. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food seems nice and the atmosphere is pleasant, except for the television. Unfortunately the coffee is awful. It is bitter and burnt. I keep hoping optimistically that it was just a bad time.. but is consistently very bad...to the point of undrinkable. If you like coffee.. avoid this place.

I was apprehensive about this place. I visited very early and it was empty..never a good sign. This could however be a reflection of the area. I am not familiar with this area - so was eager to find a new local. The reviews seemed positive .. so decided to take the plunge. Soy FW and a biscuit. The service was slow - a new staff member it seemed. The atmosphere is lovely, vintage wallpaper and imported food items create a European feel. When the coffee was delivered.. it was lovely - smooth and tasty. The biscuit was lovely too. The other reviews seem to point to the service being wanting. I seem to agree. With a bit of a friendliness and less attitude this place could be great. definitely worth a visit, of only for the coffee.

Custom coffee house. This place goes the extra mile to make a coffee that suits your tastes. The lads at Flickn Beans are very open to making coffees for the super fussy..which is great for a coffee snob like me. I have been coming here every morning for a few months now, and have had a few different coffees. I have never been disappointed. Never bitter or burnt. The Fonzie Abbott coffee is an excellent choice. The atmosphere is like a quiet pocket amongst the chaos of Herston roadways. Their choice of music is brilliant, an amazingly wide choice which only adds to this atmosphere of style and charm. And as previously mentioned.. The service is friendly, professional and relaxed. If you are around the area, or at EKKA, take the extra steps to Flickn, you will not be disappointed.

This is where good coffee beans go to die.. well be sacrificed into the smoothest most delicious coffee in Brisbane. There is a reason this place has been voted number one in Brisbane - and all coffee lovers must experience this coffee. It will become the yard stick from which all future coffee experiences will be measured against. This place ticks all the boxes; atmosphere, coffee quality and service, but excels in staff knowledge and charm. A visit to the Valley must include a coffee here for your life to be complete.

This is a great local. The coffee is consistently good. The food is even better! The banana bread has real banana, and together with the fruit - is sensational! The perfect start to any morning. The location is excellent, and the staff are always lovely! The first to open in this strip.

We visited on the Queen's Birthday public holiday - and it was busy! It's much bigger than I expected from the small town it is situated in. But the staff are as efficient as they are stylish and hip. The coffee is just as good as we expected - we had a soy flat white and a flat white. Music great - environment great. Would definitely recommend.

This cafe provides a welcoming coffee stop along the busy footpath of Adelaide Street. Beautiful dark wood paneling and textured glass windows, an amazing collection of tea and coffee cups and teapots for sale. Great coffee, served super fast with a cheeky smile. The food looks good too.

This cafe is off the main high streets of town. So if you don't mind straying from the safe pavement, down a dirty, smelly alleyway, you are in for a treat. It's a super cool, relaxed atmosphere, like a university cafe. Young, fresh things brimming with new ideas and good sounds. The coffee is great too. Not too hot, good flavours, excellent service and great surrounds. Keep it up kids!

Having recently moved work locations to the city, I was in search of the perfect cup. The Frisky Goat was the second coffee shop trialled. Wonderful coffee; temperature good, plenty of flavours, and good milk. Beautiful building creating a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were good - but not outstanding.
