Located in the Adelaide Central Market, at the Gouger St end. This cafe is always busy, the reason being, excellent coffee, good options for breakfast and lunch, with great friendly service. We have stopped by this cafe on a number of occasions and have always left impressed. Not hard to understand why they are so busy. Morning papers are supplied if you want to catch the news while relaxing over a very smooth coffee. All good, will return.

An unusual feature at The Haus Bar & Kitchen in Hahndorf, is the welcoming hostess outside, who will accompany you if required, this is a brilliant way to introduce clients to the restaurant Cafe. We have continually found The Haus welcoming, with an excellent menu, plus morning paper, and Wifi. There are four different dining areas with a variety of seating options. A recent addition to the large alfresco area that overlooks the street, is an opening adjustable roof. We ordered a late breakfast from an excellent menu, eggs florentine with salmon, scrambled eggs, with double smoked bacon, on thick cut sour dough toast. Both meals were perfectly cooked and presented, the coffee is always of a high standard at The Haus, a pleasurable relaxing breakfast, recommended.
McWhere reviewed FRED Eatery
On a loverly early summers morning, we decided to go to Fred Eatery in the Adelaide Hills, Aldgate. This is a new modern style Cafe / Restaurant with a fresh green & white decor, blond wooden tables and chairs and parquet flooring, enhanced by glistening tiles and lots of potted plants. Four seperate dining areas, including upstairs and alfresco, provide a wide range of seating and vistas, and interesting ornaments and decorations catch the eye constantly. We selected from a menu that offered an excellent Early Morning Breakfast, 7.30am - a 11.45am. All Day Breakfast 7.30am - 3pm. Lunch 12noon - 3pm. Truffled Scrambled Eggs, and A Little Of The Lot. Both dishes were of a very generous size, cooked to perfection. Fred's unique custom blended coffee was very smooth and tasty, but not bitter. The service could not be faulted, very friendly, efficient, professional. For us the whole breakfast experience was a delight, and will definitely recommend and return.
McWhere reviewed RED DOOR espresso
The "RED DOOR espresso" A Must Visit when in Tanunda, Barossa Valley SA The dining area is trendy and yet homely, with a spacious dining area, and generous lounge area with comfortable couches. On a fine day the alfresco area at the rear of the cafe is very attractive and inviting. The owner being a very passionate chef, with a great local team around her, sets this cafe apart. Most food is sourced, fresh from the local area, prepared in their modern open plan designed kitchen. The cabinets are filled with delicious cakes, muffins, chocolates, for something more substantial, the menu has great options. We being coffee connoisseurs always look forward to our visit at this cafe when ever in Tanunda.
McWhere reviewed Coffylosophy
Coffylosophy is situated on Hutt St Adelaide. Presently is the number one coffee venue on the Beanhunter App. Very well appointed inside. A dramatic decor with black walls and ceilings, but one wall is papered with very realistic shelves of books with a library effect, creating an intimate cosy ambience. Out side the footpath is covered over, with comfortable black tables and chairs, making a popular alfresco area. As expected the coffee was excellent, the service friendly, with a good display of fresh, tempting dishes, cakes and pastries., accompanies with a good menu. We found this venue very relaxing, well worth the effort to visit.

Thank you so much Trevor. We love feedback and appreciation. Always encouraging to keep going. :)
What a buzz, busy, packed out, with queue out to the footpath on a cold Sunday morning, along Jetty Road Brighten. Why?. Well for us CREAM ticks all the boxes when it comes to great cafe. First the coffee is right up there, almost intoxicating, smooth, not bitter, with a lingering aftertaste, leaving you wth the mental notion, I will be back for more. While enjoying my coffee, could not help but observe, the quality of the orders flowing from the kitchen, very appetising. 5 Senses especially blended coffee range, an excellent cafe menu, with free wifi, news papers, it is understandable why there is a queue out the door. The service was friendly, and very professional. We duly waited in he queue. Inside a very efficient, friendly and highly organised staff secured seats for us around a large common use table. We intend to return and be a little more adventurous with the menu.
McWhere reviewed AllSaints Coffee Shop
Allsaints Coffee Shop and Sandwich Company, Kingston Rd Leatherhead, Surrey UK, was formerly a church, but has become a Speciality Coffee Shop and Sandwich Company that serve the very best sandwiches and offer the very best support for local young people. The Cafe is open 8am - 3pm six days a week. We called in for lunch and a coffee. We left very satisfied, our lunch was prepared, and served while we sat in comfortable lounge chairs, the coffee was excellent, papers are supplied and free WiFi, is available.
McWhere reviewed Society Cafe
The Society Cafe, Kingsmead Square Bath is another one of the delightful cafe's in Bath. Good quality coffee with a good vibe. As we sat at a comfortable table outside, watching the crowd pass bye, enjoying our well made coffee, very relaxing and satisfying. The service was efficient and friendly. Easy to understand why this cafe consistently has a good rating. Very handy to the pump House, the Abbey, and the shops. Good place to meet up and enjoy.
McWhere reviewed Colonna & Smalls
Colonna and Smalls Coffee Shop is tucked away in a corner of Queens Square Chapel Row Bath. The architectural style is minimalistic, open plan, with coffee descriptions on the walls. Very helpful and well informed baristas serve amazing coffee. There is usually a choice of six coffee beans on offer, each cup made to suit the customer This is the ultimate specialist coffee shop offering a regularly updated menu of six single estate coffees - three espresso and three filter (with three different types of filters). There are tasting notes posted for the bean and roast, for each of the different coffees offered. The coffees made with milk use local organic. I enjoyed the coffee, very distinctive, and would be one of the best coffee houses I have visited.
McWhere reviewed Sista Barista
The Sista Barista Westminster Bridge Rd Lambeth, is a busy hole in the wall style cafe, a few stools to sit on inside and a small stool outside the door on the footpath. The coffee was good, but unfortunately it is served in styrofoam cups, and over hot, which did not enhance the coffee. The food available is prepared as you order, Breakfast, Brunch assorted wraps. Even though the place is very busy, there was no undue delay. This venue caters for the London grab a coffee and a wrap scene, while on the move.
If you are on a quest for excellent coffee while in London, then you must go to the Borough Market, there you will find Monmouth Coffee, 27 Monmouth St London. First up they will let you taste a chosen coffee. I had and enjoyed a fresh, single origin Colombian coffee, full bodied, not bitter, with a lingering after taste. This coffee destination is extremely busy, with a steady moving queue, with most tables full. The service was friendly, very professional, with grinders and Barista's at full pace. The ambience is a real buzz, absolutely full of locals, tourists, shoppers, and like myself looking for a satisfying shot. Also with their location in the market you will find some excellent fare available. When ever in London down by the Bridge Tube Station, desire a great coffee this is where I shall be. Such a great experience made my day.
McWhere reviewed Pinnock's Coffee House
"A CUP ABOVE THE REST" Many boutique coffee houses are extremely passionate about their coffee, we found Pinnock's in Ripley have gone beyond passionate. They have a variety of different strength coffee beans to suit your taste, with unique flavours. They use a drip process, where the beans are ground freshly for each cup, then using their drip method ensures a smooth, lingering, wonderful cup of coffee. On display there are freshly made, salads, wraps, sandwiches, an indulgent array of cakes and hand made chocolates. We found having brunch with coffee was so relaxing, as we comfortable settled upstairs, in their large lounge area. All of us in the group, agreed this was well worth the drive for brunch and will visit this venue again.
McWhere reviewed Please Say Please
When in the city, deciding you need a coffee break, then visit. Please Say Please in Grenfell St Adelaide, could be your answer. I have stopped by on a number of occasions, and always been satisfied. It is the quality of the coffee that keeps drawing me back. Proud Mary coffee, just makes me say "YES" when ever I taste it. There is a light menu available, but every thing is fresh and delicious, all at reasonable prices.
"Gourmet Gathering" G G"s Cafe, is situated on the corner of Dulwich Ave and Stuart Rd. We found the Cafe inside and street side alfresco area was packed on our arrival for lunch. We waited for a bit and found a delightful place, in the sun, with all the late autumn colours on display. The three page menu is very comprehensive, with a good range of breakfast dishes, breakfast through to lunch. We ordered lunch, from the Open Grill chicken, avocado, sun dried tomato, mushroom and cheese, on toasted ciabatta with a side salad. A traditional breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato. Both orders were prepared very well, exactly what we anticipated. We finished off with a couple of latte's, enjoying the location and service. Cafe's like this do not get crowded unless popular, we will return.
McWhere reviewed The Corner Store Café (Dulwich)
The Corner Store in Dulwich is situated in a leafy residential street. There are two alfresco area's, one along the side walk, the other just along side of the Cafe. Our visit was due to reading "The Beanhunter App, TOP Cafe 2013". The D"Angelo coffee was very smooth with a lingering after taste, this barista knows his coffee. The menu is quite extensive, four pages with a special page for children. We enjoyed a very appetising well made warm chicken & bacon caesar focaccia. The service was above our expectations from being greeted at the door, to being shown to our seats. The attention we received from ordering to leaving was, well above the average cafe experience.
McWhere reviewed The Flying Fish Cafe
The Flying Fish Cafe & restaurant, is situated at Horse Shoe Bay, over looking the sea, next door to the local Bowling Club. We had a delightful brunch, relaxing, enjoying the sound of breakers on the beach, with good views. Being beside the sea, we chose a fish plate, which was excellent, finishing with a very smooth Monjava coffee. Faultlessly prepared and presented, along with good friendly service. We had our brunch in the cafe area, would have to be the best fish & Fries we have enjoyed at a seaside Cafe. The restaurant which flows through the Cafe along the front with great sea views looked very inviting, with a special lunch menu. We were so impressed with the cafe brunch we will return to the restaurant which has great reviews. News papers, free WiFi, which made this a very enjoyable stop over.
McWhere reviewed Joan's Pantry
Located in Hawthorndene, at 7 Watahuna Ave, opposite and beside the recreational oval, near where the Minno Creek foot bridge is, you will find ample parking on both sides of the Rd. On the Cafe/Restaurant side wall is written, "Welcome to Joan's, GREAT COFFEE FOOD & WINE. After several visits for coffee and cake which we enjoyed, decided to return and sample the breakfast & lunch menu. From a tempting selection we chose, two dishes, Big Breakfast: Swiss brown mushrooms my, roasted tomato, bacon, sausage, home made beans, scrambled eggs with sourdough toast. Salmon on Rye: house cured smoked salmon, dill cream cheese, pickled onions, rocket, free range poached egg on toasted rye. Both orders were very well presented and promptly served. The busyness of the cafe confirms its popularity. We enjoyed a comfortable table beside an appealing alfresco area, news papers are supplied, free Wifi is available, all with a very relaxing ambience. Being Autumn the tree foliage is in this area is nothing short of stunning. An appealing destination Cafe/Restaurant that will shortly be opening in the evenings for dinner. A very pleasurable brunch.
McWhere reviewed A Cafe Etc
Fabulous Theme Cafe that will surprise. This, A Cafe has the largest Marilyn Monroe Memorabilia Collection in Australia, even their calling card is an authentic copy of Marilyn's, California driving license. But read on, there is more! We returned to this Cafe to have a full breakfast, along with their excellent coffee. We both enjoyed a large plate loaded with scrambled eggs, good size bacon rashers, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage and toast. While enjoying two very good coffee's, we sat back relaxing in comfortable deck chairs under the sun umbrella. Reflecting on such a wonderful, well prepared meal we had just enjoyed, with service that could not be faulted. For us when ever we are in this area A Cafe is the place, for food or just a coffee.
A New Cafe With Vision What a delightful find on the Corner of Wattle St & Unley Rd. The layout and design of this new, modern, spacious, delightfully thought out cafe, has every thing a modern Cafe should have, resulting in a very relaxing enjoyable experience. The menu is extensive with some wonderful food options. We enjoyed a very well made coffee, with a grilled wrap, two for $10 great a good value lunch. The service was excellent, as we enjoyed free WiFi and a read of the Adelaide News Paper. As time goes on, and the word gets out, this Cafe will get busy as it is located on the Unley road shopping area.
McWhere reviewed Cafe Assiette
A Hahndorf Gem Cafe Assiette in Hahndorf on a wet winters day, best place to be, three open fire places, cosy, comfortable and inviting. From an extensive menus, which includes a range of salads, seafoods, pies and burgers, plus a wide range of traditional German dishes, we chose for lunch, a Vienna burger, handmade foot long Vienna sausage, fried egg, bacon, grilled onion, tomato, BBQ sauce, mustard, cheese and pickle sauce, plus a Smoked Salmon salad with onion, cucumber and dried tomato. Both meals were extremely generous in size, excellently prepared and presented, in the salad the salmon was generously layered throughout, not just on top, what a treat!. The Burger looked sensational, with ample amounts of cheese, bacon, eggs, tomato, greens, mustard and pickle sauce, plus the foot long sausage. For dessert we enjoyed home made Apple Strudel, light moist and delicious, all meals competitively priced. The coffee is award winning Mahalia's roast, from Robe, one of the best available. As always, a delightful interlude in Hahndorf.
McWhere reviewed Café Troppo
Decor: primitive rustic with lots of hessian, chunky wood & exposed ceiling pipes covered in old building plans! Large bags of oranges under the front counter add colour and interest as do lots of plants and flowers both inside, and out on the corner, sunny Al fresco area. Customers can choose between high tables and stools or lower table and chairs. Fair trade & organic origin coffee, with fresh food are on offer, cakes and pastries displayed, with both lunch and breakfast menus available. A large range of drinks including alcoholic & beers on tap to accompany. Thursday & Friday Tapas are served. Very popular as the Cafe opens out to take over the street corner, with a tidy reserve across the street. Stopped and had a coffee at Cafe Troppo, enjoyed an organic Colombian coffee, roasted locally, by De Groot Coffee Company. Relaxing ambience, free paper and wifi,
McWhere reviewed Millies Bakeries Cafe
Millie's Bakery Cafe is a very popular outlet, always busy, particularly around lunch time. The tiled cream floor area, blond wooden chairs and matching tables give the place a clean tidy feel. Outside they have added on a large decked, shaded alfresco area, with sliding door access into the cafe. The range of bakery options are plentiful, from a large selection of wraps, rolls and tempting cakes, through to a very good coffee, which contribute to the buzz of the place. The service is good, when you consider how popular this Cafe is. I noted behind the counter staff numbered eight persons, full table service, including free Wifi, national and local newspapers, loyalty cards. The locals are onto this place, so if you are visiting MtBarker feel like a snack or coffee, this could well be the place for you.
McWhere reviewed Salt Cafe Restaurant
The breakfast scene at Salt is extremely popular, even before 9am this Cafe is humming with locals. The decor is ultra modern, predominately black and pale grey with accents of bright yellow, anchored by a pebbled concrete floor. Groups of tables and chairs divided by half walls which lower the noise and bench seats across one wall add extra comfort. Framed antique posters are a striking decorative feature and large sliding windows open to a footpath alfresco area. Separate menus for breakfast lunch and dinner offer a wide range of international, contemporary dining options. The locally roasted coffee was excellent. Definitely noted in our diary.
Another great coffee experience. Very popular, good service was excellent considering the crowd. Have visited their other outlet. Same deal very popular, but the coffee is the draw card. Will return and can understand their good rating.
McWhere reviewed The Bench at Present
While at the Shorditch market, decided to find The Bench At Present, well I was not disappointed. After having a superb coffee and relaxing with a very nice after taste, it was very understandable why the Bench at Present is such a top rated coffee experience. Well worth the effort, have put in my diary to return.
