this place was getting thumped with the tourist influx ( me included) summer along here reminds me of several places i have worked. i explained i wanted an espresso in a ceramic cup and was happy just to stand here next to the door to consume it i did not need a table. even though they were swamped and had several things on the go at once, i got big smiles, a little friendly banter and a deliscous espresso. pro team next level up

i spy with my little eye some fancy coffee paraphernalia and an empty shop (it is 1530 ) i simply ask for as espresso in a ceramic cup, what i got was amazing coffee, greast discussion about extraction temperatures relevant to age of bean, acidity ( sorry "brightness") and the idea that particulate size of grind and over packing groups can lead to extended extraction times without drawing bitterness from the bean, i do love getting my geek on with like minded and thought challenging baristas, baristas who taste and sample the process all day, who do not just assume their coffee is amazing as it is and push every day to espresso perfection. my peruvian single was just amazing. great round off to a day up in the hills

of course this joint tickled my fancy, posh service, attentive staff, well crafted espresso, uber surrounds. my espresso was served to me sitting in a deep chesterfield lounge by a moustached fellow who then offered me water, a menu, a smile.i wanted to sit there bring the family in and indulge, alas another time. i will just join the 30k followers on insta and drool over the sublime dry aged beef, fancy cheeses and surrounds, thank you harvest you rock

so Bailey and i headed in off the street not expecting much we just needed a hit. my espresso was just amazing, rich and dense with a coppery crema on top, no bitterness, amazing, but the real hit was Bailey's machaitto, textbook about 50ml in length, just the right balance of froth and milk, decorated with a smackeral of love. easily the best Machiatto on 3 weeks away and umpteen cafes visited

walking around absorbing all the Lismore goodness, this was a high point, funky vibe cafe, part disco, part steambath, all amazing. my espresso was well extracted had a clean caramel colour and the body was smooth and dark, no bitterness. grabbed some beans for the aeropress and they were amazing too.

I FINALLY MADE IT MATTY!! after like 100 pokes in the ribs to get in here, i gots here. pretty happy too, my espresso was bright and clean, a sweet sting in the crema with the body not dull or heavy, just not outstanding. Bailey's machiatto was long and was more like a low tide piccolo then a machiatto, but he was happy cos his bean was nice and the smile on his dial said it all. one day we will return when we can take in more of the hipster vibe, and lunch

What a treat, this is why I love Beanhunter!! Here I am 1200 kms from home with no idea who is who in the zoo, and boom! Smashed an espresso and DBL Riz, espresso looked creamy and light, this was a mere ruze, the coffee was full of flavour with underlying florals and a sweet finish. My DBL Riz released the botanicals and the sweet became unctuous and filled my palate with caramels and red fruits, there was a pleasant brightness to the beverages here. The guys on the machine clearly love their job and they demonstrate this through beautifully made coffee

My one regret for being a complete coffee nazi, I refuse to drink out of paper cups. Sometimes when I walk into a really nice little joint like this one, I want to be near the machine, I want to feel the vibe of the place, being near the engine excites me, 30 years of hospitality and 12 years of cafe ownership and having a cafe place in the top 100 in the bean hunter awards 2013, I reckon I know a thing or 5 about cafés. Amazing coffee, seriously good, dbl riz was sublime almost layered, high quality coffee in a great little setting, just don't get in the way if staff areas especially if you are obviously not a tourist, but put it on your drop in list!!

used our fave coffee app to find this while meeting with mum. i really enjoyed the up-cycled vibe and the food, simple fare well presented, all the latest trends and some twists on old favourites, loved my half chilli and lemon chicken on slaw and fries, boom good. i ordered an espresso and was reasonably impressed, there was a deep intensity to the coffee with enough resonance to carry the flavour through the whole shot. i ordered a double riz of the specialty bean, and while it may have been extracted a little too hot for my liking, it was agreeable. so happy to stop in with mumsy and discover a place using this app

Happy to stumble upon this little gem before the big walk to Bondi. Pulled up outside and went in and grabbed an espresso, was rich and full flavoured with nice cocoa and black current notes, was smooth and delicious, happy camper here

Spied from the beach, told herself, " I am going there for a coffee" headed over and loved what I saw, funky centre bar, great looking menu, über fancy oaddle coffee machine, and the opportunity try Will & Co beans for the first time. Placed my order fir an double riz in a ceramic cup and waited patiently, when the barista handed me one of those single wall white paper cups, you could imagine my horror, obviously my contorted objections were both seen and interpreted by the barista and waitress and the barista went straight to the machine to bang me out another, much kudos!! Unfortunately I did not have time to wait for a redo, bailed with the barista telling at me across the street to come back she would make me another, it is sweet I yelled back but thanks anyway!! Proud and caring barista bonus points. Paper cup Will & co god only knows how good if could have been, I enjoyed my dbl riz anyway!! Thanks Porch barista you made a mistaken beverage so-so

Beanhunter mapping has this little gem 2.2 km up the road!! Look for the street number 266, just down from Windsor shops proper. Well worth the effort to find, my espresso was nicely extracted, no blonding, perfect crema colour and consistency. A lovely example of one of Morgans handcrafted coffees, and the barista was genuinely interested in what I thought if the coffee, exclaiming that she was worried about it as it is coffee in its purest form. Love a barista that follows up, cheers

"Babe" my wife says to me as we are walking along George st kidlets in tow, "there's an espresso bar just there, did you want a coffee?" I nodded in appreciation and made my way to the counter. And what a counter it was, a 3 and 2 group spirit standing side by side. Line up if "E" grinders and special fancy Toby's coffee. Can I get an espresso of the house blend and a riz of the Kenyan, Barista asks if i had a preference for which one first, I got water in between the two , had banter with the Barista, giggled at some dude freaking out cos his cream something or rather was COLD, (it was in the fridge you numpty) and had two if the most sumptuous Toby's coffees I have had for like an age. B Double-O M!! How bloody lucky are we that we have become such nerds about coffee that a walk up espresso bar in the middle of George st in the heart if Sydney had coffee so good it makes you weep!! I love fancy coffee, amazing Kenyan today, I love attention to detail, my cups did not have dribbles down the sides, I love banter, ultra polite and efficient staff. This was my fave city coffee today!!!

so i wandered down the lane to this cafe not really expecting much, my Brother who lives in Bowral says this place is popular with the locals. i ordered an espresso, the staff were keen to please, barista was in need of a readjustment with his process, i can honestly say it has been some time since i have seen a barista take such little care in the steps to produce an espresso. the resulting coffee exemplified that process.

popped in on my way down the hill, ordered my pair of espressos and they arrived at the same time, in piccolo glasses, glasses were too hot and the result was a blotchy and dissipating crema, coffee was not the usual high standard, but considering the team were shoulder deep in turmoil and customers, i was happy to be out in under 12 minutes, YAY and thanks

Love the garage alley cat vibe, fun place to sit and watch the arvo go by. Espresso arrived as a pigeon pair, oh well, that will have to do I guess. But when coffee is this good I can deal with a double roller. Coffee was nicely extracted bright but not thin or pale, there was enough depth to my portion to totally understand the big ranking on beanhunter. Lovely experience from a gun team of bean hounds. Cheers

B-Double O-M!! This is just coffee excellence. Better then I remembered it from last visit. This time I ordered 2 espressos, the barista brought me my first and asked me how long a break I wanted, next arrived right on cue. This was faultless espresso deep and rich with a little toffee and clean brightness on the finish, amaze balls and much thanks to the well oiled machine, good luck in the new outlet, happy roasting guys!!!

what a fantastic space, loved the detail, from polished cornered steel bench risers to edison bulbs, someone opened their wallet and poured it into this space. well bloody done, a challenging fitout that provokes though and contemplation, best fitout in the west of sydney, a gazillion bonus points for being so brave, i hope it pays dividends for you. my espresso was a little thin and astringent, my double ris (order repeated back to me as 'so a double ristretto") my demi tasse cup arrived brimming with more pale and thin espresso. oh well best pale and thin espresso i've had from a $25k machine, that said the place is the most amazing joint west of Parramatta, you simply have to go and have crazy duck eggs and soldiers, a masterstroke in itself!! everyone has a bad coffee day, and it is allowed, won't stop me from returning to have another brew.

today i stood yarning with the cutie barista about all things coffee and singles, whats happening locally in the coffee biz, who is shaking and who is fading, such a great little spot to peepshow. i think i would like to make coffee here for a bit, all on show and exposed. coffee was dreamy, so deep i thought i would drown. the coffee here is always nice but then i generally go when cutie barista is on, and she is a gun. my only criticism is the jugs are reused over and over as the initial design layout did not incorporate a jug washer, but then as an espresso drinker i don't taste the last 17 jugs worth of stale milk. oh cutie barista i wish you were working for me!!! xo

aha, this little hide away of amazing chocolate and coffee should be on every persons list, this is where you will really appreciate the gorgeousness of Dean Morgans passion. the coffee here is uber good, the staff are trained within an inch of their beings. the resulting coffee reflects this. today i had an espresso of the single origin on offer at the moment, (china ??? sorry did not take notes) the standout was the dbl riz of the summer blend, deep and rich, cocoa and dark plum, ballistically good. the super cool dude on the machine knew his equipment and it was a pleasure indulging in the goodness
