Dukes Burundi for the espresso had a mix of nuttiness and some lip/tongue-tip acidity, only slightly let down by a bittering on the aftertaste. First visit here, funky little cafe with a friendly vibe and great music.

A friend has been recommending this cafe for a while, and I’m glad I went! It’s a cool location in a small alley with great music and an industrial feel. I ordered a Batch Brew, and it was very nice. It was a Guatemalan coffee. Tasted like a honey processed bean with loads sweetness. The staff were cool and friendly. Absolutely a place to check out!

An unaffectedly cool, classy and comfortable cafe hidden in Surry Hills. Dukes Espresso well made as a flat white - a robust and very smooth cup, milk chocolate and hazelnuts with a pleasantly honeyed finish. Staff were attentive yet lovely and relaxed. The menu is incredible too, tasty and interesting.

Not quite Melbourne style but the closest I've found in Sydney so far! Great coffee, nice and helpful staff and great atmosphere and location. The cashier even thought outside the box to help us split or bill effectively! Definitely going to make a special trip to go back again!
