A Sunday catch up with friends saw me Googling for where to grab a quality coffee. I decided on Quell Cafe as they use Frankie’s Beans 3 Colombians blend and I've wanted to try Frankie's Beans for a while. My large almond milk cappuccino cost $4.50. A lovely blend - smooth and mellow, something I've learned to associate with beans from Colombia. Unfortunately my extra hot tasted barely warm to me. I've had to ask the barista if he could heat it up somehow. He kindly made me another cup, heating up the almond milk till it's almost boiling. While the high heating of the almond milk did change the flavour of my cappuccino, I much prefer it to having a lukewarm cup of coffee. Definitely would grab coffees from Quell again. I may even make a special trek out to Darlinghurst to try it from the original Frankie's Beans. #QuellCafe #MacquarieCentre #FrankiesBeans #AlmondMilkCappuccino
Reviews of Quell Cafe
Sunday morning I was hanging out for a large long black and wow, Quell didn’t disappoint. Gorgeous full body and no bitter aftertaste. Another plus is Quell’s large size is actually large. 10 out of 10 for the chef. My Italian omelet is clearly the best in Sydney and he very kindly made it for me, even though it was lunch menu and not breakfast anymore.
We had yet another birthday party at Quell today. For my 15 year old daughter this time. Why we love Quell and keep coming back: the food is always outstanding, super friendly service, accommodating for your every need, spacious and stylish decor and you get excellent value for money. We have experienced breakfast, lunch and dinner there and couldn’t fault anything!
