Reviews of Me Too Please Espresso Bar
Love it. Delicious coffee - the kind where you have to dip your finger in when no one is looking to lick the last remnants from the cup. Teamed my coffee with a Avocado, Oven Roast Tomato and Persian Fetta on Sourdough - yummy and at $10 a bargain. Staff are delightful and the place was buzzing Cafe is set in a home wares store that makes me want to redecorate my house - lovely atmosphere, great coffee, delicious food.
I usually don't review a bad experience, I simply just don't go back. If this place is rated no. 14 in Sydney, Sydney's in trouble! Serving a takeaway piccolo in an 8oz Cup is just a no no but then for it to be a latte half full is even more annoying. The coffee itself wasn't fantastic for a cafe' rated so high.
My first visit for a looooooonnnngg time!!! Coffee again was bang on! I think Ivanoe22 has nailed it; it is not a bean that will suit everyone, but when it does fit, it is a GREAT bean. I can see why some don't see its charm, it has unique profile notes; reminiscent of the woodiness of whisky, with a robust backdrop that perhaps doesn't roll of the palate as easy as some, it also has a little of a sour undercurrent. I have had Bassett coffee at a number of other places, none do it anywhere near to the level Me Too does!!!
