Reviews of Coffee Exchange (Melbourne)
1. The most wonderful, friendly staff you could ever meet in this city, 2. superb coffee, they use a Slayer and a range of beans from the best roasting companies in the city. The owner Gerry got me interested in coffee and always had the time to talk about it :-) 3. Marie and those to die for chicken/Avo bagels. I'm now in NZ and i miss my old local like you wouldn't believe!
A wonderful café at the top end of Little Collins Street. I was impressed by the Slayer pumping out seasonal blends from Proud Mary and Small Batch, as well as filter coffee options. A licenced bar is also available, and the Dos Blockos Ale was superb. My Cold Drip was made from a Kenyan Single Origin, and had a rich body, with a caramel sweetness. Lovely to find a café in the CBD open on weekends, and serving quality coffee. Hats off to Jerry and the team- impeccable service. ** Gluten free options available on the menu.
Having just started working in the area, thought I'd try this place out. The latte I ordered was terrible, couldn't taste any coffee in it and the milk didn't taste right. Looking at the other reviews here, I'm not sure if I just went in on a bad day or what, but I've found a better place for coffee now.
