Reviews of Caravan (Kings Cross)
Hate this place! Always full to bursting, nowhere to wait for a table that isn't in everyone's way (and the staff aren't afraid to let you know you're right in their way). Food average at best, coffee similar, and the weekend staff don't know what they're serving you. Roast their own, which I've tried at home, but it's nothing special – over-roasted, and too much emphasis on blends over single origin.
It's a real mystery how Caravan isn't at least among the top 10 of London. With an open roastery and big table serving as front row seat, you can follow the action while nursing your brew! Unique coffee and friendly Kiwis, what else could you hope for? Cheers guys :)
Waited 10 minutes to be served, for the waiter not to know anything about what coffees they had, then waited another 10 minutes for our coffee. When they came they were cold & the waiter didn't know which coffee was which. Waited another 10 minutes for our replacement takeaway coffees which were expensive. Coffee was delicious. Service was awful.
