One of HK's best coffee shops. They make great espressos and boast the Spirit machine from Kees van der Westen (a work of art). For espressos lovers at home, their blend is a great bean - very balanced, not too acidic with depth of flavours. I use them for my manual La Pavoni and it's a solid performer.
It's so rare to receive a genuine greeting at an F&B establishment in HKG so today's visit was a nice surprise. This also differentiates them from their QRC branch that's cold and robotic since J left. Great coffee, pleasant atmosphere, great service. What's not to like? :)
This is the place for no-BS coffee. No fluffing around, just beautiful coffee: beautiful flavor, beautifully creamy milk (of course, because they are barista and latte art champions) and big smiles everyday. Incredibly passionate baristas, who crowd around their most perfectly poured piccolos to admire and photograph them excitedly. The customers are all busy professionals, here to enjoy the coffee and good conversation. Overall, it's fantastic.
Kim Yeung & Cat man this place most of the time. If you appreciate latte art, this is the place to go because Kim won a latte art competition in New York a few years ago and in his sleep can pour better than most. Amongst the other locations, this new location in Central is now my favorite of the Coco Espressos because it is well designed and comfy and the service excellent. The coffee drinks are well done and balanced and I am sure you will feel comfy and satisfied here
