Try the savoury muffins when they're just out of the oven (8:30 am) I can promise you won't be disappointed. Soft on the inside, altitude crunchy on the outside and different flavours every day. Do rate. Coffee depends on your barista. Can be amazing, can be a little average.
A little coffee haven. After wandering up and down the Salamanca markets looking for a morning coffee and an escape from the freezing temperatures, we eventually stumbled into this little place. Was a great relief to get warm and have quite a nice ristretto. Breakfast was great too. Later that week we discovered there are a number of excellent cafes in Hobart, this was our first find however and still the most memorable. Keep up the great work guys.
It could be cool in winter, situated as it is at the end of an arcade off Salamanca. However, heaters, blankets and a warm welcome mean you're toasty warm in an instant. The friendly and efficient service is matched by the food. Over a couple of days we tried a variety of dishes , from the 4 grain porridge to the special of baked eggs with ham hock and were very happy with all our choices the same can't be said for the coffee. It's the beans I think. You either love the flavour or hate it. We were in the latter camp. I'll return but when I need a coffee hit.
