Very disappointing! Our piccolos were so bitter I couldn't finish mine! The cake I chose from the glutin free range, almond and orange was dry and tasted old.

Coffee needs some work it had a burnt aftertaste which suggested that the coffee heads are not cleaned or the basket for the ground coffee has some old coffee left in it, would improve it I would say.

In desperate need of a hit prior to a glum visit to Kempsey Gaol I spotted this joint. I was pretty impressed with the decor, as it was like stepping back into the 1950's. The staff were terribly friendly, and given my destination I was suspicious of everyone, and didn't think they really meant that they would look after me. I was mistaken, by the end I was convinced that they genuinely were happy to be there. The coffee, double shot cap, was excellent and the milk was stretched perfectly - and a cm thick. I'll be back.

Surprisingly good. At first glance it looks like a commercially influenced 50's themed cafe. And expectations where nothing more then a quick slap together feed and week coffee. How wrong I was. Strong smooth coffee and great omelette. Well done Lou.
