Reviews of Idelic Cafe
Dined in for late breakfast and a flat white. The drink was served at speed and proved a somewhat darker roast than the usual Campos offering. A decent pour, though the milk work wasn't quite up to scratch - bubbles too big to pass off as microfoam. The meal was tasty too, though the eggs weren't cooked as requested and it was served long after I'd finished my coffee. The offerings behind the glass at the front counter looked mouth watering. Seating arrangements are well spaced and cater to all with comfortable options for groups, couples and solo diners. The cafe's fit out isn't quite as polished and modern as some in the precinct but has no trouble rising above that to deliver a humming, communal vibe that is as warm as it is welcoming. Service was very friendly and efficient from start to finish.
Brilliant service Really listened to how I want my coffee made Great to see Bonsoy and La Marzocco machine All staff very friendly. You know what my coffee is going to taste better when the service starts like this Coffee was very good but lacking a little complexity Bright happy space but I prefer a darker corner and comfy armchair These days, in a service industry you just can't count on good service so full marks here Note I'm overall disappointed with coffee in Canberra so whilst this coffee is not in my best 10 places, it is the best I've had from 4 cafes so far. Here for another week so here's hoping
