Nice strong flavour to the coffee which is to be expected from Neli beans. The cafe itself was quite a cool place but is just lacking the oomph needed for atmosphere. The artwork on the wall is amazing! The lack of atmosphere could be attributed to the poor service staff. The guy on was friendly and upbeat but the girl was too "tortured artist/hipster" and didn't actually speak a word to me while I placed my order
Reviews of Valori Espresso Lounge and Gallery
As a regular I think I've only had one average coffee out of at least a hundred. For those who don't know Neli coffee is actually a local roaster in Clontarf and their beans are amazing and awesomely priced. With such a good roaster nearby and great staff its no wonder they always do a good coffee.
Totally agree with secondcrack. You guys produce an awesome cup. I've never experienced a coffee that is on fire!!! if the coffee injured your tongue, you should have address this with the manager/owner at the time. Not taking it in to an online forum where the owner can't responded or pin point the issue. To give someone 1.3 is disgusting!! your profile has no value and your reviews aren't testimonies. I've come to realize beanhunter is a very critical review site. I use beanhunter because I love coffee!!!! Every cup of coffee has value :)
When visiting a cafe for the first time based on previous reviews, do yourself a favour and ignore any reviews where the reviewer can't string a sentence together. Similarly, if a reviewer has a habit of providing very low scores with little or no substance to their review, then it's not really a review and more so a stab at someone who's giving it a go. Valori punches above its weight. The quality of the coffee is extremely high, latte art is always picture perfect, and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. I'm a Sunday regular and have never had anything to complain about other than not being able to get a seat. Keep up the magnificent work guys!
